Ok I have medium brown hair and I want to dye it to a lighter brown. It has been at least 2 months since I dyed it. I had blue strips that I ended up dying my whole hair black but not permanit. Long story short I left one strip of blue (not meaning too). The black is gone now still have the blue strip and I want to dye it a lighter brown than my natural color. Not blond cause every time when I was younger I would try and it would turn orange or red. In fact the only reason why the blue came through was because I bleached the strips before hand (never again). So my questions are.. Can I go to a lighter color without it turning red or a funky orange? And will the strip of blue be darker since its different from the rest of my hair when I go to dye it? Will it even work without having to go back to black? Need help thanks if your going to be rude just leave.

Ok I took one of the early test from walmart and got a faint positive then the next day I went and got a cheap dollar tree test and it came out negative. Could it be the difference in the test brand or should I wait a few more days and test again if so by then could I use the cheap test and it come out correctly. I really do not know what do to here I did buy more of the cheap test just not sure if it would be better to get another from walmart or just skip all together and go have a blood test done. Any help would be great I am so confused.

i am being tested for pcos and i am terrified. i have not had a period in over a year and was very irregular before that but all my pap smears would come back good. i am going to a real doctor instead of the health department for the first time. i have done research on pcos and what scares me the most is the risk of cancer. i am so terrified that i have waited too late or too long to be tested and whatever damnage there may be is done. has anyone been through this? i know that pcos is becoming common but i am scared. so if anyone has any advice or any thing that can help me try to get through this would be helpful and welcome. thanks

Ok here is the deal, it may be all in my head but I would like some info if anyone has any. A few days a go I had this like one spot of blood than it was gone. Today I had a headache all day long my my breast are sore and I feel as if I am going to hurl and I can not sleep for the life of me. My question is if that was implantation bleeding wouldn't it be way too soon to be having all this going on if it was pregnancy? Please help and if you have nothing nice or helpful to say keep it to yourself. Thanks

Ok I have an appointment in Feb. cause it is the soonest I can get one. I asked them to check for PCOS they said that there is no test for it other than an ultra sound. To me this does not sound right. Also this will be the first time seeing this doctor. I am starting to have doubts about even seeing this doctor now and might look for a new one. Anyone go through this? What do they do to test for it? Is the doctor right is an ultra sound the only way?

Ok got my puppy Saturday and he is 11 weeks. The problem is that at night he can not stand to be alone so he not only wines but howls. We fixed him a nice warm place to sleep on the covered porch with all his toys and everything still no go. So we tried to put him in the bathroom again no good. He is a very puppy and will be a huge dog we don't mind him being in of the day but at night would like for him to sleep outside but instead he is sleeping on the sofa and will cry if no one is in the room with him. I do not know what to do I can not stand to hear him cry. There is no way he can sleep with us cause he can not climb the stairs yet or is too lazy too either way it is not happening yet and really do not want to get to that point. any advice would be great I will try anything at this point.

Ok we just got this house a few months a go and today when doing laundry (which is in the basement) flooded our walk in shower that is also in the basement. the shower is not draining and the water is everywhere no sewage but lots of laundry soap. the laundry room which is very small is right next to the bathroom so I am guessing they share the same piping. Any ideas I am not sure what to do at this point other than call a plumber and it is the weekend.

My husband works nights so he sleeps all day. He plays world of warcraft and up until now we always had an unspoken agreement to spend at least 1 day together without any distractions. Now though we don't even do that it is just work and wow. I cook and clean and do everything but his days off he catches up on his sleep and I understand that cause I worked nights before too and know how draining it can be. Is it just me or is something up? There is no point in trying to get him to stop playing the game and I would not try anyways cause I know it is a stress reducer for him and things have not been easy the past few years. I just feel like instead of having a husband that I am just living with this guy I hardly see. any thoughts (anything rude keep to yourself please)

ok not sure what color to paint my living room & up stairs hallway. the living room has a lot of light and windows also with a stone stacked gray fireplace the carpet is a pale blue but may replace with something else any ideas would be great and links of examples would be nice too

ok i have irregular periods have been to the doctors over it everything always comes back fine they can't seem to find a reason for it. anyways my last real period was January. for me this is normal. anyways in mid June I had one spot of brown blood and that was it. this month nothing as blood goes. i have had a headache all most every day for a week i'm going to the bathroom a lot more and sleep i can't seem to get enough of. what freaked me out was tonight i ate something i normally can't even stand to look or smell. not to mention that my boobs are heavy and sore off and on and my back feels like it is in knots. i'm going to go to the doctor in a few days but just wondering if i should even waist my time. with being so irregular is there really a chance this could be pregnancy? yes my husband and i have unprotected sex all the time and it would make us happy to be but whatever happens happens.

what do you think of the name Ivan i know it is an old name but it was my grandfathers middle name so I want to use it or something close to it for a boys name of course and any ideas for a middle name to go with it please and thanks

we are planning a trip to smoky mountains tn this july we already found a nice cabin with a big pool for the hot days we are only staying 2 nights the problem is that there will be two toddlers so trails and rafting are out what can we do to make the vacation fun for them too? we were thinking about a side trip to fun mountain since it has something for everyone and is not really big other than that is there some things around the cabin we can do for them? my husband was thinking of a parachute you know the 10 ft thing that is great for everyone any ideas would be nice thanks

This year it is just going to be my husband and i spending easter together we don't have any kids and our families are doing their own thing this year. My question is what can i do to make this special? any ideas would be great. i don't want it to feel like just another day.

I have a 5 gallon hex tank and i'm getting a betta more than likely female anyways to go with her I was thinking of putting in 1 ghost shrimp and adding it first with a snail just 1 my questions are

how do I fix the filter so that the currant will not be rough on the betta?

even though there is a chance of the shrimp getting eaten will there be enough room if chances are he lives? I don't want to over crowd my tank. So would 1 silk plant and a small hide away cave or bridge be ok and still give everyone room to move around? I picked silk plants so that the betta does not hurt or cut its fins like they can do with plastic but I have noticed some of the silk plants are wider just want to make sure there will be enough room.

my husband and i are getting a 20 gallon tank and a few of the things we want is tiger snails shrimp and rainbow sharks my questions are...

1) can you put tiger snails in with the shrimp if so how many?

2)what kind of shrimp would be nice to look at and yet help keep the tank clean?

3)what other kind of fish can we put with the sharks? we want an active tank

4)do we have to worry about the sharks picking on the shrimp and snails?

this is going to be a project for us we are not adding all at once any ideas are greatly appreciated and pics or links would be a great help to thank you

we live in an upstairs apartment and lately our storms have been getting worse our down stairs neighbors are often gone most the time during the night so i know i can't depend on just running down stairs to take cover and our landlord is only in during the day and not very long at that we do live close to a walmart it is not even a block away should if it was to happen make a run for it? or just get to the bathroom that is in the center of our apartment with no windows what would you do?
