  • Epson printer driver for Mac?

I am trying to add my Epson SX405 printer on my family windows network to my macbook. The adding seems to go fine, using the "SX400 series" driver, however when I try to print, it always comes up as "stopped".

Does anyone know of a better driver to use, and exactly how to install and use that driver on my mac?

    Thanks

  • Which amplifier for my turntable?

I'm new to this vinyl thing so bare with me...

I've just got an old turntable and was wanting to plug it into my JBL creature II speakers that I already have. When I tried this with a phono - 3.5mm lead it was really quiet, so i'm guessing I need an amplifier?

Which kind do I need? The turntable's got a phono output. I'd prefer to use my existing speakers which have a 3.5mm input.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Tromso, Norway - which guide?

Looking at either lonely planet's Norway guide (obviously), or lonely planet's Scandinavian Europe guide.

The latter is only 100 pages longer yet covers several countries, yet would it be better for the north of Norway?

    Any advice appreciated,

    Matt

  • record one sky channel and watch another?

Is there any way to do this without getting sky+?

I've already got sky, and am looking to buy a DVD recorder. I want to get one that allows me to record one sky channel while watching another.

I think I need a recorder with twin tuners to do this - does this exist? And will it be able to work with sky?

    Thanks in advance.
