The kids and hubby are sleeping. And it's freezing outside!!!

Are there any emos out there? What does it mean to be one? I have seen the term tossed around on here and I have no idea what it means.

Yesterday morning I had a knock at my door and low and behold it was a member of a church I don't go to (I'm not even Catholic) bringing me food and presents for Christmas. He asked if I had signed up and I said no. He just smiled and told me I wasn't the first person to be surprised and someone else must have signed me up. I thought I was doing okay with Christmas, plenty of food and gifts. I'm poor but not that poor. I really felt bad that there are kids in the world who have so much less than my kids and here they are getting even more. I have no idea who signed me up but I know the boxes were for me because the guy had enough details about my family like it was for someone at my address with three kids, I'm the only person in my area with three kids... So what I decided to do was spread the gifts and food around to various family members who are probably having a harder Christmas than I am. I still don't feel right about it though. What would you do?

It must be afternoon in England right about now and there seem to be a lot of Europeans on here right now. I am also wondering if in general where ever you are from if you prefer to use yahoo answers in the afternoon? It's about 9:30 am in Maine where I am. And I prefer to answer in the morning.

I don't mean random children. I have a nephew who is constantly calling me mama. I've tried correcting him, "no, Auntie" and I have tried ignoring it. If it was just him getting confused it would bother me. Where he spends more time with me than his mom, I don't think he's doing it accidently. His sister never calls me mom. My kids always refer to me as auntie when they talk to him. He's only two so I am wondering if he actually thinks of me as a mom figure along with his own mom?? Has any one else ever had this problem? The only real reason I'm worried is because I think it may be hurting my sister in laws feelings. This has been going on for about a year.

Do you have two names that mean something and when you put them together they actually compliment each other? For example Coco Crisp. Two names that mean something that when put together make him sound like a yummy breakfast cereal. My name is Charity Steward which sounds more like a position than a person. So is there anyone out there who like me actually has to repeat your name many times because people don't really believe such a person could exist? You don't have to tell that it's you with the name it could just be a name you've heard of. Any funny stories about names that mean something?

It's called vacationland. I was wondering how many people have been and what you thought of it. If you haven't been what have you heard about it?

A friend of mine is having a girl and wants the childs name to start with R. She is also trying to squeeze her mothers name Gene in it somewhere. This is about the only combo I can come up with. Anyone out there have any ideas? She doesn't like normal names. She already has a daughter named Kenzia Hart.

I mean right now. It's dark out and quiet. Doesn't a nap just sound good?

Is it really that frightening and scary that they have to have an explaination for everything their kids do?
