  • if you've had counselling are you entitled to your notes?

I'm just wondering, here in the UK if you've ever had counselling, therapy or seen a psychiatrist where they normally make notes as you receive therapy, when you're discharged are you entitled / do you have the right to have access to see these notes that they've made about you?

  • What is this song ?!?! played at a metal / rock club!?

n Saturday I went out to our local rock / metal club and a song came on which I had never heard of before but I'm desperate to figure it out. I was too drunk to really know what the lyrics were : p but everyone was doing a robot style dance, its wasn't a heavy metal song per say but I was in a rock - metal club and the only lyrics I seem to recall are something along the lines of "I'm a positron" or something like that, and then the there would be a bit where it goes "whoooo ohhh...." very distinctly but there seemed to be a specific dance to the song that a fair few people seemed to know as they all did it in groups.

Any ideas? Its bugging me like crazy!!

From what I can remember its sung by a male band, the actually singing is a bit weird like they're high or something ...

  • is it bad if you find moldy clothes but are successful at cleaning them?

We recently had a really bad outbreak of mold and its getting everywhere in the bedroom, I discovered that my favorite leather boots and a pair of suede boots were covered in this gross yellowy and white mold and 2 pieces of clothing (for some reason despite having lots of clothes it was just 1 dress and skirt it stuck to) and also some of our bedding.

I've managed to clean off all visible mold from my boots, my clothes which smelt bad I washed and have come out clean and the bedding I will wash as soon as I can (we're in the process of moving out and there's only so much we can wash in one go)

My question is; although I've removed the mold (I did a lot of research and have used white vinegar, tee tree oil, bleach, anti fungal leather spray etc), but because these items have had mold in the first place do you think its disgusting to keep them? they were my favorite shoes and clothes and they look and seem fine and obviously if any mold appears I'll nip it in the bud if I can, but if it was you in this situation would you do all you can to salvage your items and if it worked keep them? Or would you just throw them away thinking it was dirty? me personally, i'm going to keep these items but I don't want to feel like this is wrong or gross.

I guessing I'm looking for reassurance that, now that the mold is gone (and as long as it doesn't reappear) its fine to keep these items.

  • Have you ever discovered mold growing on your clothes, shoes and if so how did you cope?

Recently with warm weather and living in a badly ventilated flat where its impossible to open any windows we've had a seriously bad outbreak of mold. In the bedroom there's damp everywhere on top of having to keep the towels in the room.

I recently discovered that all my shoes were covered in mold and I found a dress (just the one luckily) which had just started getting a bit of mold on it. I've washed the dress and cleaned up my shoes and it looks like its gone, but I'm worried there could still be some spores lurking.

We're moving into a new flat soon and I am so terrified of bringing the mold into the new flat, I'm literally loosing sleep over it as I keep panicking the mold has had a massive outbreak again and ruined all my stuff. plus I just feel dirty all the time, as I had a pillow that i had been sleeping on for about 2 weeks before I realised that was completely moldy, and now our duvet smells moldy but I cant see any yet.

What I want to know is, if anything like this has ever happened to you where you've fold mold on your clothes (and also your favorite items) and how did you cope? Did you just clean it and get on with it or did you just feel like all your stuff was ruined?

Sorry to ramble on, its just really gotten me upset and depressed as I feel now that mold will never truly go away and I'll always be battling it for rest of time!

  • normal wisdom teeth problems?

One of my bottom wisdom teeth is coming through and incredibly sore, though I know its normal to have some discomfort when I checked it in the mirror I can see like a round little pocket of my gum sitting over the area where the tooth is only just emerging. When I try and put my teeth together my upper teeth are biting down on this little pocket of gum making it hard to talk and eat, I'm just wondering if this is normal as its so weird to t=see this little mound of the gum sitting on top of the area, let alone the pain its causing.

  • greggs cake frosting?

    Hi

I've recently tried some cakes at greggs. The type that I'm referring to are the cupcakes with swirled frosting on top. I know that they do them in raspberry and at the moment yellow ones for children in need. I was just wondering if anyone knew what kind of frosting this is, as its a bit firm not like soft buttercream, but when you eat it is is still soft. I really want to make some but I have no idea what kind of frosting it is.

If any one can help I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you

  • will freezing leather for a few hours damage it?

I have a pair of leather shoes that I want to stretch and want to use the freezing water method, (where you fill a bag with water, put it in the shoe then freeze the 2 for an hour or until the water freezes) but I don't know what/ if any damage it will do to the leather itself.

  • understanding ebay and paypal?

    Hi

Recently I sold two items on ebay. when the buyers paid for the items via paypal, I checked that it had gone through and it did...but on paypal the full amount wasnt showing as some of the cost had been deducted- this i assumed was the seller fee that ebay took off - although it was less than ten percent that ebay said they took.

Im now sellling another item on ebay and before i confirmed to sell it says my current account balance is 80p which is the ten percent of the previous items i sold.

What im not sure of is,- when the two items before hand sold, some money was taken off before going into paypal - which adds up to 80 p however ebay is still saying my balance is 80p , so does mean they will take away ANOTHER 80p through the direct debit?

sorry if this is confusing, im just not sure if instead of ebay taking 10% of the seller fees (which initially was shown in paypal) they will ultimatly be taking 20% from me.

    Thanks in advance

  • understanding ebay and paypal?

    Hi

I'm really confused right now and would really appreciate some help. I'm new to selling things on ebay and have just sold two items. One person has paid for their items and this is shown on paypal, however ebay is still saying Im awaiting 2 payments and I don't understand why when they have paid.

Another question which relates to paypal, is that when I go to my over view which shows all the payments I have made to others via paypal, next to one of the payments its saying "confirm receipt", but what does this mean as I havent got a clue!

Please help, I'm at such a loss right now.

    Thanks in advance

  • the 120 and 88 palette?

I've been doing a lot of research on the 88 and 120 palettes that you can find all over ebay and the internet. I just have a few questions.

    1) are these palettes the same that coastal scents use...I've heard their all exactly the same palettes just sold by different companies but not sure if this is true.

    2) with regards to the manly / BH cosmetics palettes themselves, does the 120 palette contain all 88 colours found in the 88 palette and more, or are they both different colour combinations.

  • What is some good intense eyeshadow to use?

Hi, I'm looking for a brand of eye shadow that delivers intense colour, unlike the cheap stuff where it barely shows up. I've got some good primer that does help intensify the colour but I want some good eye shadow as well, although nothing that is stupidly expensive. Just wondering if any of you have found any brands that are better than others.

Many thanks in advance = )
