1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

How can light be around without objects such as the sun/moon which he created later.

1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

But the moon isn't a light...The greater light (Sun) the lesser light (moon) The sun only reflects the light coming from the sun.

There are several other flaws in Genesis 1....Why would you believe anything that comes after genesis 1 if it's so flawed...Just a question.

And...

1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

It's funny because how can grass/herbs/ any kind of plant be created if there was nothing to give it energy...

You guys hate Abortion/Gay marriage. But it doesn't harm you in anyway?

If you don't hate it....

Why aren't gays allowed to get married?

Why is abortion being fought?

It's someones personal decision.

isn't a medical procedure that person does with her own body there business by law?

This is a copy of supa star post in some way...wanted to repost it to see if anybody could do it. I edited it a bit.

1. I am an atheist so first you must convince me of any kind of Supreme Being or Higher Power. This way I become a theist. You must provide me with concrete evidence of why god is real. No God created himself spontaneous generation has been proved scientifically impossible. This means you cannot use things that assume God exists such as the Bible, the Quran etc.

Step Two: After you have completed step 1 you can then inform me and attempt to convert me to your specific religion and why your religion better than the other 70% of religion(s)

I'm an atheist and i believe they don't harm or hurt anyone. So live and let live.

I just want to know your point of view on it.

Well i'm 15 and an atheist, but my friends want me to go to church. One of my other friends who is atheist goes just to have a good time. Is it wrong for me to go?

Just wondering (Have no intentions of converting) Still want to study some religions though.
