I'm a senior at Klamath Union High School in a small Oregon town. I take professional photographs and write for the local newspaper. I spend a lot of my time taking pictures. I have good equipment: a D40x, 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, 70-300mm f/4-5.6, ML-L3 infrared remote, and a Sunpak Ultra 757B tripod. I have recently acquired a used D70 that I will use to AF with my 70-300mm lens. It will be nice to be able to auto-focus a sporting event. I have been accepted to the Brooks Institute of Photography, and will start there on July 10th of 2009. Also, I am the designated photographer for my high school's yearbook, which is the consistently ranked as the third best in the state...and my high school has fewer than 1000 students.

  • Who should have the room?

    My future roommates and I have a conundrum...there are three of us and two rooms. We are trying to find some way to resolve this dispute well, without too many hard feelings and long running vendettas.

    We are looking for a humane way to do this, such as games or activities that are relatively even. We will probably be in this apartment for 9-12 months, if not far longer.

  • Trying to restore a Turbo Tax 2007 file, what is the default save path?

    I backed up my dad's hard drive, because he needed a clean install of XP after years of my younger brothers downloading viruses and crap, and now I've got XP reinstalled and all, but I can't seem to find the 2007 tax return. I know that it is a .tax file, but it doesn't seemt to be in the program files, or program data, so I need to know if any of you know the default save path for Turbo Tax 2007.

  • Turbo Tax/Quicken information...?

    Basically, I have Turbo Tax and Quicken on a hard drive that runs XP. I'm going to do a clean install, and I'm trying to back up only what needs to be backed up. Tax information falls under that category, so I was wondering if anyone knew where that kind of information is kept on a hard drive.

    And I know that I could have found this information by searching with google for a while, but I feel lazy right now. Thanks in advance (unless all the answers are insipid.)

  • Problems with different RAM speeds?

    I have an AMD 64 X2 5200+ at 2.6ghz. My PC's manufacturer is HP. They gave me two 1gb sticks @4200, and I just bought a new stick, which happens to be a 1gb @5300. I cannot get all three sticks to work together. Therefore, I'd like to ask if there is any way I can get these sticks to work together?

    If not I guess I'll just return this stick and look on newegg.

  • Nikon Picture Project v1.7.5 update d/l?

    Where can I find a live download for Picture Project 1.7.5? I need it so I can update to 1.7.6, so I can shut off my computer without it crashing...(I use Vista, and 1.7.6 is Vista compatible, though it requires 1.7.5 before I can install it...)
