  • What can I do for my one year anniversary?

    September 13th is my one year with my boyfriend. We can not think of anything to do. We thought we would go for a hike during the day then go shopping downtown that night but a family member told us those were not safe places for us because we are little. Were 5'6 and not the most intimidating. We can't go far from our homes because neither of us have a car at the moment. We love about an hour from the beach and from the mountains. He said no to a picnik and there are not any concerts near us. Any ideas? We would really like something where we can be alone

    I love to work out and to be active but my doctor said that I need to stay off of my ankle until it is done healing and after my physical therapy.   • what should i do with my old kids locker?

    I have a childs play locker in my room that I have had since I was about 5. It does not lock and is made of plastic. the front isnt smooth. Its kinda bumpy. I wanted to cover it in stickers and when i started to it looked really bad because of the bumps. Should i continue looking for a new locker or should i find a way to smooth the old one out? any ideas of how to smooth it out? i would rather not buy a new one.

    So I have lot a lot of weight in the past 3 years. I am currently 16 years old, 5'6 and 135 pounds. Before winter break in November I was 126 pounds. My goal weight has always been bewteen 120 and 125 pounds. I have tried to get back onto my normal diet the past week and I can't seem to get it started.   • Will this help me lose any weight?

    I'm trying to drop these last couple pounds before school starts on the 26th so my dresses fit better. Will this help at all? I'm 5'5 and 135-137lbs depending on the day. If this wont work do you have any suggestions? I cant really wear shoes at the moment because of new ice skates. If you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.     Straddle Stretch

    Before you start moving around too much, you’ll want to stretch. Sit on the ground with your legs making a “V.” Bend forward, reaching your arms down your legs and get as close to touching your toes as possible. Count to fifteen slowly, then sit back up. Repeat two more times.

    Reach-for-the-stars Lunge

    Stand up and keep your legs in a slight “V” shape. Shift your weight onto your left leg, bending at a ninety-degree angle and straightening your right leg. While you’re doing this, lift your arms above your head. Count to ten then stand back up, repeating with your right leg. Do this twice.

    Twisted Jumping Jacks

    Grab two light hand weights or two canned veggies and start doing jumping jacks. Be sure to keep your arms as straight as possible. Do twenty jumping jacks, rest, and repeat.

    Squat Jumps

    This is just what it sounds like: go into a squat, jump up, go back into a squat. Do fifteen, rest, and repeat.

    Quick Jog

    Head over to your stairs and run up and down them three times. Don’t have stairs? No problem! Just run in place for about two minutes.

    Cool-down Stretch

    Once again, stand with your legs apart in a small “V.” Slowly bend down and reach for your toes. While bending, count to ten. When you reach ten, you should be at or near your toes. Hold for ten seconds, then slowly curl back up, counting to ten. You should be in a fully standing position when you hit ten. Repeat.

    School starts in 3 1/2 weeks and I would really like to lose as much weight as possible. 5 pounds would be good. 15 is too much to ask for in this short period but if its possible that would be awesome. I can't run my neighborhood because it isnt safe and I have no exercise stuff at my home. I also cant afford to go to the gym. Ive gained a few pounds this summer and I would like to take them off as soon as possible. Any ideas?
