I removed my cigarette lighter and used the 12v power and ground to wire a small digital display voltage meter. I am wanting to wire a 12v dual USB port into the same wires so I don t have to run all new wires to the battery.

Is it worth it to have two 12s over one 12 if the total rms is the same?

I recently bough a used, but we'll maintained 1993 Mercury Topaz. I am a bigger guy and because the steering wheel does not tilt and the seat doesn't adjust very much back I am wanting to swap the driver seat for something else to try and get my leg room. Was thinking either a cheap aftermarket bucket seat or something from the junkyard out of another vehicle. Looks don't matter to me, just function.

The wife and I are wanting to go to the coast for the weekend of July 4th (Thursday-Sunday). We are 24 and 26 and will be taking our 4.5 month old with us. I have never been to the ocean before. My fiance and I are wanting to buy our first gun. Neither of us have ever shot a gun before. Curious if it matters what caliber of gun to buy for someone who is new to this? I've read online that 22 rimfire if the best because its good to learn with and the ammo is cheap. I can get a Smith & Wesson 22A 22LR 5.5 BBL Two Tone at a local shop for $219.99. We don't want anything special and would like to stay on the cheaper side without buying garbage. We want it just for range shooting.

My iphone messed up so I got it replaced by the apple store. I cant restore my phone because my computer crashed and I lost everything. I did manage to copy my itunes folder (from my computer/programs) to a external hard drive before it crashed. How do I restore my phone from a backup that is in that itunes folder?

I am due to build a new PC and I am clueless on todays processors. Not sure if I should go i3/i5/quad core? AMD/Intel? I built a PC 3.5 years ago with a AMD 64 X2 6000+ processor in it and it has held up very well. I would like to do a little gaming but I am very interested in photo editing and just a plain fast computer that will last a while. No more then $200. Thanks for any help

I am wanting to buy a punching bag for exercise use rather then training for boxing. I know there are different weights, covers, and fills but I do not know what would be best for me and my needs. I am 5'8 and weigh 310 lbs. I am a big guy but I do have a great deal of muscle on me so I can handle heavier bags. I don't necessarily want a hard bag so that I don't do damage to my wrists, but I do want something that can take heavier hits and not swing crazily. Thanks

My PC isnt running to well so I think it is time to format and reinstall. 3.0 ghz Dual Core Processor with 3gb Ram. I currently use XP Home with 7 Professional Upgrade. Which system is more stable? Which will run better? I like how pretty 7 is, but I cant help but think that XP runs better?

My camera is a bit old I know. I'm looking for an external flash but I do not want to pay a fortune because I don't think its worth putting money into the camera any more. I have heard that I don't have to use a Olympus brand flash, but Ive also heard that if I use the wrong one it could fry my camera. Id like to stay below $300 USD. Thanks

Me and my fiance are going back to college in July and have decided it is a good time to buy our first laptop. We will use it for MS Word programs, music, internet browsing, online lectures, light photo work, and if possible Sims 3. Id like to stay under $500 if possible but needs to be wireless. I know I want at least 3GB DDR2 RAM but I am clueless about notebook processors and other specs. What should I be looking for in a laptop to fit my needs and last. All help is appreciated.

I just got AT&T U-Verse installed a few days ago. After the guy left I installed my new Netgear Wireless N Router and that was that. Hooked my xbox 360 and blu-ray player up to it (wireless) and all was well. Then I find out today that the AT&T modem acts as a wireless router also. Should I return my router (saving me $80) and just use the AT&T modem/router. Or is this Netgear wireless N router worth it.

I have a Yamaha V465 Receiver. I currently have a pair of Insignia Bookshelves. NS-B2111. I am going to buy 2 more pairs, 2 for the rears and then 2 for the center. Is it possible to hook 2 up as center with my receiver? I was just going to twist the wires together and put it in the center channel spot. Is this a bad idea? And if your wondering why I want to use 2 speakers instead of one, its because I have to buy them as a pair and it looks better with 2.

I have a Toshiba 40XV645U 1080p, 120hz TV and now its time for a blu-ray player. I can get any of these blu-ray players for around $150 through my job. Which should I get and why. I am fine if it does or doesn't do WiFi. Toshiba BDX2000, Panasonic DMP-BD60K, LG BD370, LG BD390, or Sony BDPN460

Should I display my HD cable at 720p or 1080i and why. I've heard 1080i is bad for some reason

Right now with my current cable company I get 12mb internet and about 40 HD channels. 1 DVR box and 1 Digital Box and can only record 2 shows at a time. I can get AT&T for about $25 less which includes 105 HD Channels, 1 DVR box, and 5 Digital Boxes that will allow me record 4 shows at a time. Is AT&T good?

Just got my first HDTV. I have it set up as follows. HD Cable Box and xbox 360 both to the Yamaha Receiver via HDMI. And then the Receiver to the TV via HDMI. Normal channels pop up as 480i which I assume is normal, but the HD Channels display at 720p. No idea how to change it to 1080p. And yes TV is 1080p capable.

I have some bookshelf speakers that are not magnetically shielded. When I put them next to my tube TV it messed with the picture. I am buying a LCD or Plasma TV on Friday and want to know if it will do the same thing to the new TV.
