  • Video Editing Softwares?

I'm in the look for video editing soft wares. I currently have Sony Vegas 9.

I'm not so much looking for something easy to use but something that is efficient in what it does. I got a new camera (HD 1080P Speed Camera) and my sony vegas 9 can't use the AVCHD clips from the video. (If anyone knows how I can without getting a converter pleeease tell me!) I downloaded the trial version of Sony Vegas 10 Pro Platinum, which was able to use my clips from my HD camera but I didn't LOVE the software for $100.

I need a program that will work on a Windows computer. And HD videos are a bonus.

Also I love making effect-y videos, so that is something I want in a software.

This is one of my videos, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFXW5YoUXIg

Anyone know what my choices are? I've tried to do some research of my own but the only ones I came across were imovie and final cut, which only work on a mac... right?

  • Cleaning Older Saddles?

Hello! Did everyone gain 10 pounds over thanksgiving? Ha, anyways! I'm looking into buying a older Crosby cutback saddle. It is "made of smooth havana bridle leather." according to the description. I'm wondering what would be the best kind of leather cleaning to use on this saddle? It does have a few blemishes in the saddle - anything I can do for that? Also, the previous owner wrote on the bottom of the saddle his/her name. Appears to be sharpie. Can I do anything for that either? Or will that name be there for good? Thank you!

  • Does my horses weight look ok?

Hello, I have a few questions. I will appreciate any answers/opinions given. Thank you in advance.

I have a 5 year old American Saddlered. I board my horse, so i don't exactly have control when he gets fed and such. I have a Youtube account, I have videos of my horse and someone sent me a message saying my horse looked thin. I was thinking he had lost some pounds lately... but then again we are in training for a upcoming show in mid june.

Below this paragraph are a few links - the first one is when I first got him back in November '09, what his weight looked like, and the second one is a picture when he was in the round pen eating grass last week, you'll notice the sun is hitting him just so that you can really see him ribs. The sun i think over exaggerates making him look thin but its your call. Also keep in mind he has his winter coat on in the first picture. I don't know exactly what horses should look like at their "perfect weight" but I have a pretty good idea. Just in case I turned to this solution hoping someone here will read this that has a trained eye.

The second link doesn't copy and paste together you need to do the "31106982_2566.jpg" part separtly and add it on to the first part... sorry.

Also, what does anyone know about high protein horse feed, I heard it isn't very good for them. Is this true?

  • Horse Tack - Nylon Coated Bridles?

Hi! I'm shopping around online at different horse websites for training tack for my American Saddlebred. I came across a Coated Nylon Side Check Bridle. I was wondering, does the "coated nylon" have any cons to it? It would seem to me that compared to leather it would give the horses rubs more easily, not be as good as leather, ect. Anyone know if they make good bridles or not, and what the pros/cons are to them?

Also, I'm looking for saddleseat training equipment - I would love any websites that sell such! Thanks!

  • Can't save video for Windows Movie Maker to my computer?

Okay... I'm making a video for youtube with the software Windows Movie Maker. I spent 3 weeks making the movie and when I go to "Save Video To My Computer" I get to 88% saved every time. Then it just quits... I waited 30mins to see if it would keep going after a while but it didn't. But the funny thing is when I go to watch my video the music will stop, not the video, but just the music will stop about 88% through the video. I will die if this video is a waste... I worked so hard on it. This question makes sence right?
