  • Skatesonhaight.com A good site?

Is skatesonhaight.com a good, reliable site? It seems to me like a good place to buy a longboard, and is much cheaper than what I was going to buy. But that almost worries me a little bit. I'm hoping for someone who has shopped there before, or knows from experience that it's a good site? If not, anyone know any cheap longboard dealers? I'm looking at thelongboardstore.com if no one can give me anything better. Thanks!

  • Replacing 70mm 78a longboard wheels with 70mm 75a wheels?

I'm looking to get a new board, and I've found the one I want, an OG Cloud from Sector 9. I'm curious as to whether it will make a difference if I switch out the wheels from 70mm 78a to 70mm 75a? I hate the colours they have in the 78a. I know it's about how hard they are, and that I'd be getting softer, stickier wheels. Would it make much of a difference if all I plan to do is ride for fun on regular city streets? Thanks for the help.

  • Female MP in the Marines?

I want to be an MP in the Marines, and I'm hoping to maybe even become an MP that works with dogs, I'm pretty sure that's MOS 5811 and 5812. Does anyone have factors that could help me get the job and things that could keep me from it? And do I get to choose what I want to be, or will they assign me to what they think will work? Thanks for the help

  • Buying Hi-Chew candy?

I'm a hopeless addict of Hi-Chew candy (especially strawberry) and I need to know where to buy it. I'd prefer the original Japanese version, but since that is harder to find, American is ok. I live in the East Bay of California. Please help me out, I'm hooked on this stuff!

  • Lance Blankenship Tee Shirt worth?

I have a 1988 children's baseball jersey for the Oakland A's signed by Lance Blankenship. Can anyone tell me the approximate worth of said shirt, if it's worth anything at all?

  • Anything you can tell me about joining the US Marine Corps?

I want to know anything about everything in the Marine Corps. What civi stuff are you allowed to keep? How much do you take when you join? Can I do the thing I've heard of where you sign up and wait about a year or so before actually going to BT? What's Basic training like? What are the sleeping arrangements like? How do the sgts usually act? What kind of training is there? What are the standards? How do things progress? I have so many questions about this, I'll probably continue adding more. If you can tell me answers to these questions and any other information you may think I will find usefull, preferably from experience, or any websites that have this kind of information, I would be extrememly grateful. Thank you!

  • DO these phobias have names?

I'm afraid of spiders, but I know that one. I also have a deep fear of bees, and a fear of bed sheets, a fear of, basically, any insect that buzzes, and...well that's all I can think of. Do these have names? Thanks much

  • What's it mean if a dog purposely falls over on their back?

I just got a new 2 year old female yellow lab, and I currently have a 6 month old very sweet pit bull shephard mix. The lab constantly falls onto her back and, though she looks playfull, I'm not sure what this means. Does she just want a belly rub, or is she being passive or dominant or what? HELP!!

  • Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Obviously, the question itself is simply a metaphor for whether God created the earth or not. I believe that the answer to the question itself, not its metaphorical background, is that the egg came first, laid by something just slightly (EVER so slightly) less evovled than the chicken we know now. But I'm insanely interested in hearing what others believe on said topic, and would appreciate and answer with an explanation of why you believe such, or why you may not need an explanation. Please answer, and don't go telling other people they're wrong, even if you don't agree with them! Thanks muchh!

  • Does anyone have a list of religions?

I was raised without a religion, and I'm not sure which one I want. I believe in one God, and agree with many Christian religions, but there are so many denominations. Does anyone know of a website or something that tells the views of different religions?

  • Does God really exist?

When you think about it, it makes more sense to think about it in a scientific way. God was created in humans' minds so we would have someone to blame our struggles on, and so we could feel more secure in life thinking someone was watching out for us, and so that we could make life logical, which it is not. This would explain how so many Gods were created around the world. But then, there is also some things in life that cannot be explained, and I do not believe in coincidences. There are some things that happen in life that I don't know how to explain other than God must have made it happen. Is it really just something science can't explain yet, or is there really a God? Please no answers that aren't backed up by logic, and no crazy-religious people.

  • Is a dumb question a question worth asking?

When you think a question is dumb, should you just not ask it? Or should you ask it anyway in the hopes that an answer will come up and open up your mind a bit farther? Personally I agree with the second.
