  • Does Vandread have nudity in it?

Any nudity at all. I watched the first episode and it's hard to judge the future, especially with those ending credits.

  • Can I find ecchi without nudity?

Sites or shows with ecchi but no nude pics or scenes. I doubt there's a site since they usually have a few that aren't supposed to be there. But if there is do tell. But only say something if your sure and have seen every pic or scene of the site or show. Manga too I guess.

  • I need advice in parenting?

I'm 18. No, I didn't knock anyone up. It's my brother. We live with my grandpa and my sister. My brother smokes weed, cigarettes, does coke, and pills, skips school, gets bad grades, sneaks out the house, disrespects my grandpa, and is a pathological liar so much to the point where it doesn't matter if he's caught(he may feel he's right or innocent and actually believe it when there's hard evidence and testimonies against him). He hates me and treats any advice or lecture like attacks on him when it's really us showing concern and trying to help him.

He's changed even to where he talks and plays with my sister less and doesn't even go see our childhood friends who's family is friends with our family(he'd rather hang out with people he get's into trouble with). He puts no thought into his future or his current situation which is being in deep **** with the legal system. I know you can't change anyone who doesn't want to change but I wasnt to believe that there's hop for him still. I've seen this, and if things had been different I might've became this. It's not good. I wish he would see the voice of reason and grow up and stop being so naive. It doesn't look like it's going to happen

  • Are we really that different?

    Argue about this!

Jesus.....Oh, I see I already pissed some people off. Jesus was killed by science and religion.

Science because the government and commoners who didn't believe in God and called for the voice of reason wanted him dead for being such a blasphemous and influential person driving everybody who had no voice to oppose what they now were told was wrong, which was many of the things people loved to do, and religion because those who didn't believe he was the son of God or the ones who got caught up in the power religious people in high places had at the time wanted him silenced for blasphemy against God or their own influence. Whether you believe the story or not, that's what killed him. He predicted it, preached about it, etc.

You know why I did this.

  • Know of any good soul music or hip hop and R&B artists?

Anything like Stevie Wonder or the albulm Damian Marley did with Nas(Distant Relatives) or Raheem Devaughn or Tupac. People who know their stuff and incorperate it well in their music. I've watched rappers on TV and wondered, what happened to the real hip hop culture? When did R&B leave the scene? And where is the soul in today's music? Introduce me to songs which you think might interest me due to what I've said so that I can narrow my search down and listen to some right now without trying to search for them.

  • Does anybody know any good animes?

I've seen code geass, death note, gundam, black lagoon, afro samuri, etc. I'm looking for shows like these which hold little to no fill in episodes, and that have charecters you can fall in love with and a really good captivating story.

  • Does the second season of Code Geass disappoint?

I recently finished watching season one of Code Geass dubbed. However, with that cliffhanger you can easily guess what I hoped the second season would do. When I started to watch the first episode of the supposed second season which I thought would be the the continuation of where it left off I was utterly disappointed by both the voices and what I was seeing. Charectors who regained their memories of being involved in the war acting like they were never in it, all of the twists left from the first season completely disregarded, Lelush talking like he was never Zero and him and his brother not remembering there rivalry or what role the other charectors played. Like it started over in a different time!! I couldn't watch for fear of disappointment. Without clearing any of this up yourelves(I hate spoilers) tell me, does the second season of Code Geass clear my concerns up or is R2 the right version of the second series making this question on a fluke?

  • What makes blind faith necessary?

Do you believe visionaries to be delusional? Not so long ago it was a delusion for us to go to the moon. It was a delusion for blacks and whites to go to the same school. It was a delusion for the computer to connect the world or even be profitable. And so on. But a few stepped up. The brave members of Apollo. Martin Luther King. Bill Gates. They went against all logic and were driven by faith in their own ambition. No proof existed so they could convince no one that what they believed would ever become reality. Most people didn't believe it would be until it did. They had their proof after they found out that it was unnecessary. And the reason it wasn't necessary is because the answer lied in the realm of possibilities. The truth was out there even when there was no evidence. There are some things in this world and even beyond it that are real. That are true. However, there may never be proof of them. Aliens for one. It is another 'delusion', but it still lies in the realm of possibilities. It may be true. But they may never find us nor us them. We may never have proof of their existence. There are creatures in our own ocean that we have no knowledge of. How do we know they are there? Has it been proven? No. It is faith that leads us to believe that in the oceans depth, there are creatures that defy all logic by living in an environment that seems to have no way of supporting life. There is a reason that the word faith is a term that people use. Because it is one that they need to use at times and not such a bad thing. My opinion on the topic. Not an attack on anybody who believes otherwise.

  • Simple, logical conclusions about how to handle differences in belief?

1)Simply answer the question and ignore the accusations. Because logic tells us, along with much evidence that countering accusations with accusations will only lead to the offense and wrongdoing on both parts, whereas choosing to be civilized with uncivilized people can keep you on the intelligent platform unless it is your intention to do otherwise.

2)Avoid playing their game. If they are being rude and you are rude in response, then who is right? Two wrongs don't make a right. This is logic at it's most basic.

3)Mutual respect. If they are expressing their believes or ideas through a question without the intention of offending anybody(for instance:when they address the question to their own for what they think about something)and you try to answer by taking offense, then isn't your trespassing on someone else's intentionally private question to express yourself through insults disrespectful and in most cases vain? I have met intelligent people on both sides who would agree that it does.

Why choose not get along because other people choose to not get along? Doesn't that make you a follower? Why attack those who don't want to be involved in the dispute? Doesn't that mean your doing it for spite? Why judge others as this or that and tell them they are so because they judge you? Doesn't that make you too, a hypocite?

  • Atheist and christians of the great dispute?(this is for you)?

I am with the christians and atheists who go against the dispute on this site and know just how stupid showing mutual disrespect for each others belief is. I believe that we should be able to accept what another believes and allow them to bring up a point or question(based on there belief) without being seen as 'this or that' for trying to push them. Is it so wrong to put an idea out there? Must we resort to senselessness. You have the choice to be mindful of the other person and talk in mutual respects however in disagreement you may be. We can have debates without turning them into arguments, Show courtesy by keeping your cool when faced with differences, Forget the stupidity of the endless fight and make yourself look good by keeping away from it. Even better, you can try to mediate with the two opposing sides. That will show how truly above it you really are.

  • What can we do to make a contribution to the betterment of society?

We all know the idea of peace has been an out of reach goal for all of mankind to reach, however there are several loopholes in laws and other political documents we may exploit to better make a move for change. There is also the laws of revolution, or radical change that we may use to our advantage. How many of you know of any loopholes or can give a logical revolutionary idea possible for the everyday citizen?

  • Where can I find an anime series with a good story and fated confrontations?

Cloud and Sepheroth in Final Fantasy, Train and Creed in Black Cat, Yusuke and Tugoro in Yu Yu Hakusho, Kira and L in Death Note. All of these have really good stories with anticipated confrontations and unexpected twists. Also the background of the charectors and the pace of these shows are why they are some of my favorites. Does anybody know any more shows that would fall into this category. Of the calibur of what keeps my attention or even better, blows my mind with it's well thought out scenes or just plain coolness. I appreciate any help, especially if you introduce me to more than one show like the ones listed above.

  • Anyone know of fast paced anime?

Death Note is my favorite anime! I can't find anything that can keep my attention that well. Does anyone know of a fast paced anime that will have some mind-blowing scenes or genious level thinking so I can know there are other good anime out there. Nothing like naruto, bleach, and other long fan-based shows that have a long list of boring episodes in the midst of a good story. Just a really good anime that keeps you attentive and interested. Action or unbelievably smart thinking. Or both. I've seen black lagoon/deadmans wonderland. Anything else?

  • PARENTS Can your expeerience help?

We live with my grandparents. Please understand that not everybody will change because you want them to and it's better for them(the problem). This is a sad story filled with troubled people. So please don't judge anybody, just focus on the question. Imagine M(my little brother)was your kid. He used to be quiet but playful, respectful and trustworthy, responsible and short, and he always showed how much he loved his family. Then, his only negative perk got the better of him. His vulnerability to easy influence, brought him down a path that fogged his mind. The ultimate problem is the endless lies and denying most anything that he does, proven or otherwise. My fears are based on his complete lack of understanding and motivation for his actions and future. He first began to change when he met J(my friends little brother), his new found best friend and someone I knew long before him. Don't get the wrong idea though. J might not have been the best influence for my brother, but this isn't J's fault. It's my brothers misinterpretation on why J is the way he is and him giving up his own free will unknowingly. J got into trouble, for many things. He stole, cursed, smoked, and had a reputation for it too. His house was the kind of house that doesn't condone these things, but accepts them. He is even able to smoke in front of his parents. At this point, changing everybody he's around would be impossible and pointless anyways. M started to pick up on J's catch phrases and taste in clothes. J told me after I talked to him about this recently(long after the fact), that he thought that was annoying, stupid, and understands that my brother isn't being himself. I noticed this, but he was overall the same good kid. At this point I wasn't paying much attention to him and J. Even when I went to J's house to see my friends, we usually left to go smoke. I know I'm supposed to be a roll model, but most of the stuff I do(good or bad) stays on the low. Until one day. I got caught, on purpose. I didn't want to live a lie. I liked being honest, but my mom put me in an awkward position by trying to cover for me. My whole family looked at me differently(of course). This was the summer before freshman year(close to when I started), after I just got over my middle school mentality(I don't care, I hate my dad, life isn't fair-that stuff). Now I was changing for the better. It didn't take long for me to earn my families trust back. I'm not the type to let people think poorly of me, especially if I care about them. My will is strong, so my mind could beat the drug. I wasn't addicted, like most of my friends. They'll tell you. I could quit for months watching them smoke right beside me and never mention anything about it. I didn't act stupid when I was high like a lot of the people I knew. This proved to me that marijuana has limits and your mind can be in control while on it(for some). One day my brother asked me about weed. I asked why he needed to know, and he said he was thinking of doing it regardless of what I said and that it had nothing to do with me. This was my regret. I knew I was fine with the drug. My mom had bad experiences with it, and called it a "stepping stone drug". Which I thought was stupid, because I've done research on everything I knew people around me have done, and I'm completely against using any other drug with the exception of tobacco, which is a lower level drug than the already low level plant I was used to. But regardless, the high percentage cases were what I wasn't thinking of. I thought that if I crammed all of the knowledge about self-control and life lessons to keep him on track into him, he'd be ok. Which probably would of been true, except I didn't. More like, couldn't. He was a lot younger(another thing I wasn't thinking about), meaning he would take everything at face value and create many misguided perceptions about how things were and how people thought. I should of tried talking him out of it, but I didn't know it would get out of my hands. He did look up to me. It didn't take long for the drug to affect my brother the why it affected all of the weak-minded or easily influenced. By giving them a strong sense of independence, lessen their ability to care for, understand, or remember certain things. He changed his schedule. He played with my sister less and less, went out more, stopped saving, started getting into trouble. To skip the slow downfall, and tell you how he is, He lies a lot, forgets a lot of stuff, even if it happened a few minutes ago, steals, siphons the food from our house, shows us how much he doesn't care, treats good advice and criticism like a lecture or another argument, has no respect for others property, has no plans for the future, and disrespects my grandpa. He's passed the drugs limits, and I refuse to think he's beyond help!

  • Why is life so deceiving?

This isn't a general question, but I feel confused and uneasy about the way this world is opening up to me. I know, not everything is as it seems, but it's also true some things have more than one true meaning. Which is why several different people can derive different perceptions on something and disagreements on who's right appear. This is why I know longer go off the assumption that I'm right about something unless I'm certain, or at least more sure than the other persons or people. If your trying to answer this seriously, you probably think I'm giving you very little to go on, but explaining the circumstances involved wouldn't make the question any clearer. I'm not looking for a change in perspective, just an answer that might help me to understand why life is so deceiving, or at least help me come up with a better question to find the answer. Maybe this is one of those questions only God can answer.

  • What would be a good place for me to learn martial arts?

I live in Garland, Tx and go to Garland High School. I want to know of some good areas for learning martial arts so I can protect myself and the people around me. I would also like anybody familiar to martial arts to give me a suggestion on the best style to learn for defensive or re-directive moves. I want it to be so that if I give 110% in training, only other martial artist or professional/experienced fighters will have a chance of winning. That way, unless they fit the description or have a weapon, I should be able to make winning look easy. I have good reasons(not revenge or besting others)for wanting to know how to fight, and will work as hard as it takes to reach fighter status. I just don't want to feel helpless, even when I'm doing my best to protect those I care for. What style(well known or otherwise) would best help for learning defensive or re-directive attacks? This is a life decision, and once made, will make my training apart of my way of life, so please take everything I've said into consideration when giving suggestions. I want you're unbiased opinions as a martial artist(not based on what your learning, unless it suits my situation).
