3 AnswersRenting & Real Estate7 years agoKeeping daughter away from ex husband's junkie girlfriend?
So my husband filed for a divorce 2.5 months ago after 4 years of marriage, we signed a mutual agreement that he could have unsupervised visitation with our 2 year old daughter every other weekend and from the time school lets out to the next school year during the summer. I'm guessing out of spite he's started seeing his ex girlfriend (from before we were married). She's known for shooting heroin, if shes been in trouble with authorities because of it, I'm not sure but I do know that she lost custody of her two infant children. I have pictures of her with my daughter that he's posted on facebook. He lives in Arkansas and my daughter and I live in Missouri. I don't know why he would have our daughter around such people but I'd like to do something about it.
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics7 years agowhat to get a little girl, that has everything, for xmas?
My daughter is 15 months old and not to brag but she is very advanced for her age so I don't want to get her "baby toys" and I want to get her something that she'll be excited about, something unique. She is my first and only child so I've showered her with toys and pretty much have everything: tents, tunnels, stacking toys, baby dolls, crayons, musical instruments, little people, shape sorters, mega blocks, cozy coupe, swing, bubble blower, potato head, ball poppers, books, flash cards, radio/cd player, and a pretty good movie collection...the list goes on. Anyways I've bought a few things: potty chair, 101 Dalmatians DVD (she has a new love of puppies), and a magna doodle...shes has very fidgety hands and likes to tinker with small pieces and push buttons. Any help I'd appreciate it. :)
4 AnswersToddler & Preschooler9 years agoWhat is biting me in my home?
I have no animals so ive ruled out fleas (plus i'vent seen any), Ive vacuumed all the rugs after sprinkling them with baking soda because i heard that kills some mites then i gave them a good spray with lysol (we have hardwood floors in all rooms of the house), i did the same process to our mattress and living room furniture(baking soda, vacuum, and lysol) ive also put zipped covers on our mattress and box spring and washed all of our linens and bagged them. On top of all of this we've been bathing in phenothrin, which is the main ingredient in lice and mite shampoos. im being bitten on my butt, sides, belly and occasionally (not under) but the back of my arm by the armpit. Anyways it is mainly my torso, and no i am not imagining this! i notice the new bites in the morning usually, they are not hives or any other medical condition, ive worked in the healthcare field a long time now and these are definately bites, scattered not like scabies.

1 AnswerLaw & Legal9 years agoAt what age did your LO outgrow 18mo clothing?
DD is 9mo and is at her "chubby stage" (20lbs and 27in) and can wear some 18mo stuff in circo brand but she mainly wears 12mo. Now that shes started walking i figure she will loose some weight. i was just wondering because i bought her a bunch of fall/winter/spring stuff in 18mo, should i buy some summer stuff too? she will be 18mo in April, but some moms tell me that their kids are 2 yrs old still wearing that size.
6 AnswersToddler & Preschooler9 years agoMy baby just got her "2 month" shots and...?
i've a breastfed baby that was dirtying a diaper once every four days and the doctor said this was normal since breastfed babies absorb more so less is put out...well she just got her "2 month" shots a week ago and since then shes been going every day sometimes 2-3 times a day...should i be concerned or is this just a side effect? If any of you moms or health professionals out there can give me your input thank you :)
1 AnswerNewborn & Baby9 years agoNew baby, small house, visitors: your opinion?
I am scheduled to be induced in 4 days, my husband only gets a few days off from work so Ive invited my mother who lives 300 miles away to come stay the week because this is my first baby and I really need her support. Then I have my husbands mother who also lives a good 300 miles away that has invited herself which I really don't mind because I want her to see her grandchild but...my house is barely 900sq feet (if you dont know, thats about the size of a 2 bd rm apt) and she, the MIL, didnt ask but insisted that she was going to bring her other grandchild who is 3. Me, considering that I as well as my mother need our space especially since I will have just given birth and possibly may need a c-section told my husband to call his mother and tell her to come alone. So he calls and ASKS her if she still plans on bringing the other grandchild and me being more assertive demands she come by herself. I think I may have made her angry but it would just be all too overwhelming for me if there was a toddler running around my house for a week. It seems like shes being unsympathetic to my situation and invasive. I feel like telling her that if she plans on bringing a party to rent a motel or something. What is your opinion on this? Feel free to share your stories of your invasive in-laws.

That aren't meant to be lullaby's...Ive already thought of those. Doesn't have to have a specific meaning either.
2 AnswersSinging10 years agoDoes Anyone Remember This Children's Book?
It was about a badger, and I'm thinking his name was Fritz, being visited by a pig tooth fairy that destroys his room and squeezes the toothpaste out of the tube from the wrong end...Its from the late 80s/early 90s
1 AnswerBooks & Authors10 years agomy neighbors dog keeps getting over my fence?
Okay my fence is surrounded by hedges and I've patched up all the holes but somehow my neighbors dog is getting over my fence sometime between 10pm and 6am. It's sh*tting in my yard and chewing anything it can get its teeth on like toys, hoses, etc. I don't ever see any of this happening but its obviously a dog from the evidence it leaves behind. So i told my neighbor about this and it keeps happening so im thinking about leaving antifreeze out? What else can i do? I'm fed up!

3 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoParents: Do you really think its wrong to spank your kids?
I mean seriously, i just got a thumbs down for telling someone to spank their kid...im sure your parents spanked you, and you still love them right? I think that a tap is acceptable when a kid is misbehaving. and it works! ive experienced this myself!
14 AnswersParenting1 decade agoWhy are you hesitating to get rid of this SH*T!?
Okay so I moved in with my "now" husband a little over a year ago and I pretty much have turned his bachelor pad into a home besides one bedroom which he uses to store his fathers belongings. model cars, deer heads, guns, clothes, etc. (his father is still alive and chooses to live homeless and is now staying with his mother) anyways we are expecting a baby in late September and I'm anxious to get the junk out of the room so i can make it into my baby's nursery. we only have 2 bedrooms and i would like this to be my childs room not a junk room. the sh*t is piled up so high and there is nowhere to walk in the room right now, its like im on an episode of hoarders! since its my husbands day off work i asked if he wanted to work on the room a little, get some stuff out of there. he replies "we have 6 more months to do it" also we mentioned something to his father about it and he got angry with us because we wanted to move the stuff. its not like we said we're going to throw it away but we're not some kind of storage shed. im about to sit everything outside myself. so what do you think about this?
2 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade agoSubchorionic bleed caused by RH factors?
I am 9 weeks pregnant and just recently went to the emergency room because i was having a discharge of bloody mucous, anyways they did an ultrasound and told me that ive a subchorionic bleed which was caused by the placenta being ripped away from my uterus. i know your not suppose to get the rhogam shot until week 28 but i also know that i am A+ and my husband is O-...could this be that my body is rejecting the baby?
