I have a dell inspiron mini,operating on windows xp

It popped up on my comp that my comp was infected and kept trying to get me to "upgrade"

to windows security essentials but it had a taskbar icon that i never saw.It looked like a little combination lock.

when i tried to open ANYTHING,with the exception of firefox,it kept saying corrupted infected etc

When i tried to download any anti virus software like avast it wouldnt let me download it and kept saying corrupted infected.I want to try to save my files tho.Any help would be much appreciated.

So i have a sound file where me and a friend where talking and it had some hilarious stuff on it but the problems my voice is clear but his isnt.Other things u should know about my setup are Im using a logitech microphone,a speaker output was used for his side and i was calling him from google.Any suggestions would be helpful.thanks!!!

I got a ps3 but the harddrive wont format and it keeps saying i need 2.75 update .

Can i just get a new hardrive to fix this or did the ps3 crap the bed?

i go out with this girl for about a year and a half ,i knew what i was getting into and still want to spend my life with her.

my questions is if any1 has any insight with being with someone with bi-polar disorder(s) and maybe any advice to help things a lil easier.

she takes medications,but if were gonna have a kid someday i think she would have to stop taking those.
