So me and my gf are both 23. She is my first gf (I'm a very shy person) and we've been together for a little more than a year. Her parents are very strict with her and never let her go anywhere and if they do she usually has to be home by 10pm or 11pm. They have already said they're ok with her having a bf and she says they like me, but they don't really talk to me much when I'm around which I guess is because their English isn't very good. We never argue about anything except about the way her parents treat her. They let her brothers do whatever they want, but if I want to take her to see a movie (which is across the street from her house) they'll say no. We see each other twice a week, but only because she tells them she's at school or work. Is there anything I can do for them to give her more freedom and do you guys think it will last?

I just bought a record player and just noticed that there is sound coming from it even though it's not connected to any speakers and it doesn't have any speakers in it. I can hear the music that is on the record and I think it might be coming from the stylus. I know its might be because it's metal and it picks up sound from the vinyl but is it supposed to do this? Cause I could've sworn that when I first put a record on it I didn't hear anything until I connected it to my speakers.

I just bought a Holga 120N and I've been trying to find some places that will develop my black and white 120 film. The kind that I'm using is Kodak Tri-X 400TX black and white negative film. I've heard that Walmart will send it out but I'm not sure if it should be processed as C-41. I've looked carefully throughout the box and it doesn't say anything about C-41 processing so I'm not sure what to write in the special instructions box and what size prints I can get from them if I go through Walmart. I asked the Walmart photo guy about 120 film and he had no idea what I was talking about. Also, I've heard that it's not that hard to develop black and white film at home if I buy the right chemicals and tools. But if I do that, I was wondering how I could get prints since I think that doing it at home will only give me negatives. I'm fairly new to photography so if someone could give me some details on the whole process that would be great. Also, if you could tell me what I'd need to process my non-C41 film at home that would be very helpful. Thanks.

I'm using a Mac with windows 7 installed through bootcamp and I want to be able to choose if I want to use os x or windows each time my computer starts up. Like when you hold down option/alt when it starts up, it let's you choose, but I want it to do it automatically every time without having to do anything.

i just got a new phone and i want to transfer some of the games i downloaded from verizon on my old phone to my new one. my old phone is a motorola razr v3m and my new one is an lg venus (vx8800).

I just downloaded a java game from the internet and now i have a .jar and .jad file. i'm using bitpim but i dont know where to put the files. Can anyone tell me where to put them and what to do? thanks.

I just bought something from an online store in China and was wondering how long it would take to get to the US. More specifically from Hong Kong, China to California, US through airmail.

I own both a PSP and a Nintendo DS. At first I thought the PSP would be better thant the DS. The PSP has a great capability of playing movies and music with a pretty big screen for a portable console. But when I got a DS, I found that the games on it are a bit childish, but definitely fun. I also discovered a special way that you could play movies and music on it. And because the DS is smaller than the PSP and costs less than it, I'd say that the DS is better than the PSP.
