I'm making my own version of this Forever Unique dress, http://www.polyvore.com/forever_unique_m%E2%80%A6 But I'm not sure how to make the skirt. Basically what I need to know is:

What fabric should I use?

How do I make that curly edge?

And how do I sew it so that the skirt looks like that?

I have a Singer sewing machine and a Better Homes And Gardens machine and I'm not sure which to use since I am a beginner. Thank you so much for your answers!

My driveway is very thin and we live on the side of a mountain. So on one side of the drive it goes into a steep incline up the mountain and on the other side is a drop off at a very steep angle straight down to the river. My driveway is gravel and very long. Parts of it are sinking and getting potholes. I'd like to make my driveway wider if at all possible but I would definitely like to make it sturdier and more long-term somehow. I thought about concrete but I think that would be too heavy and although it would fill the potholes it wouldn't make the driveway sturdier or less likely to crumble one of these days. I could dig out a little section of the mountain to make it wider but heavy machinery on the driveway scares me. Any ideas, websites that might help, advice, or even thoughts you just want to share would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if Sephora still sells their Light Touch Highlighter? I can't find it on their website anywhere! Is it just in the stores?? Thank you for answering!

Okay, here's the lowdown.

I need a party idea. Fifteen year old girl birthday party. Her birthday is on March 28th. That's the middle of Spring Break week. We live in Ohio. Weather.com says the weather is going to be 56-36 degrees (But everybody knows those weather guys). What should we do????

I have had 3 dogs die from being run over by a car. Two of which I witnessed with my own eyes but could do nothing. It also didn't help that I had to drag them out from under the vehicle. How do I train my new puppy to NEVER do this? I really need help.
