  • Style time for 3" mohawk?

I'm seriously considering chopping off my hair and getting a mohawk. I would like a 3-4" mohawk that I would put up as a standard fan. About how much styling time do you think this would take me each morning?

  • Why do people compare declawing with spaying/neutering?

I see this comparision pop up continually during declawing debates and I don't know how these people are making a logical connection between these operations. Spaying and neutering have benefits for the owner such as decreased tendencies to roam, decreased aggression, decreased incedence of urine marking, and absnece of annoying heat cycles. However, spaying and neutering also benefit the animal: Neutered animals have no risk of developing testicular cancer and a decreased risk of prostate cancer; spayed animals have no risk of developing ovarian and uterine cancers, no risk of developing ovarian cysts or other abnormalities, a significantly decreased risk of developing mammary cancer if spayed before their first heat, and the complications associated with pregnancy and queening (birthing) are elimated as well. Furthermore, spaying and neutering helps conserve taxpayer money (less animals to care for and/or euthanize at the shelters) and benefits the population of pets as a whole.

  • Multiple reptile enclosures - info and plans?

I'm interested in making a multiple housing unit for my reptiles. Right now I need to gather information on how this works (heating/lighting/basking, access for cleaning, how to construct the glass portions and fit everything in, etc.) and possible floor plans. I can find plenty of pictures on the internet of similar enclosures made but I'm having a hard time finding the nuts and bolts information. Any suggestions or links?

Eventually I'll need to work out how everyone will fit together because they are currently being housed in aquariums ranging from 10-40 gallons, so if anyone knows of multiple enclosures with various sized caging within, it would be really helpful.
