I am a veterinarian with 30 years of active practice under my belt. I have been in a small and exotic pet practice for the past 10 years, before that I was a zoo vet and completed a residency in zoo, lab, and exotic animal medicine. I work full time, in addition to helping raise my two grandsons, 2 and 4 years old.

  • Is it normal for salespeople in Gamestop stores to be sarcastic?

I am a 50 something woman and asked a salesguy young enough to be my son about a game I was getting ready to buy (Michael Jackson on Wii). He said I could do Thriller till my ears bled in a very sarcastic tone, then said that if I bought the disc he could get me a 'shiny new glove!" like I was a three year old wanting candy. I felt humiliated and talked down to because of my age and choice. My son says that I am being oversensitive, guys that sell games at these stores often use sarcasm as a selling tool. Is this true, am I being oversensitive, or was he rude as heck to me?

  • Is there a patron saint for little boys?

My grandsons are being baptised on Sunday, one is 2 and the other is 6 months old. I wanted to get them each a medal of a patron saint, but when I researched online I couldn't find any patron saints that specifically protect little boys. There are ones for girls, girl scouts, unborn children, orphans, young people, Boy Scouts, sick children, needy children, and generic children (St. Nicholas) but none to protect healthy little boys from harm. Are there any Catholics out there that could help me?
