  • children of twins?

Alright here's a hypothetical situation. You have two pairs of twins, two identical men and two identical women. They each have a few kids.

Wouldn't the children of one pair technically be the biology children of the other pair as well? It seems to me that any d.n.a. testing would support that opinion anyway.

  • This doesn't make much sense?

Apparently over the last few decades all that "bad" Carbon Dioxide has been very good for the Earth.

"They found that over a period of almost two decades, the Earth as a whole became more bountiful by a whopping 6.2%. About 25% of the Earth’s vegetated landmass — almost 110 million square kilometres — enjoyed significant increases and only 7% showed significant declines."

  • Just thought I'd post the news?

I haven't seen a trace of this in the news, so I thought I'd post it here for some people to realize.

Today over 32000 scientists in the U.S. alone have all signed a petition disputing the man-made global warming hypothesis. Here's a link http://www.petitionproject.org/index.html

  • Global warming has stopped?

So the temperature of the planet has started decreasing since 2001, does that mean that the natural cycle is on it's cooling period now, or does snow in Baghdad mean we're still getting hotter?

  • Permanent cracks?

So, When I was about 2-4 years old(I can't really remember the exact timing that early in life, but it was one of my first dozen memories) I fell on the playground and cracked both of my big toenails. I mean I literally cracked them from tip to cuticle.

18 years later and the nails are still cracked in the exact same spots. This ever happen to anyone else, and is there a way to reunite my nails without pulling out the whole thing and hoping for the best?

Does anyone remember a few months back when some big mathematical formula was fully mapped? I can't find information on it anywhere.

  • Something I don't think i'll ever understand?

    Alcohol is legal

    Cigarettes are legal

    Marijuana is illegal

That just doesn't make sense to me. Out of all three of those, marijuana does the least damage to your body, doesn't impare driving at all really and when was the last time you saw a bunch of people in a room getting high break out in violence?

I just think that unless the other two become illegal, it shouldn't be.

Also I don't smoke, drink or get high.

  • Nightmares?

Never had one in my life(20 years old). Is this common, or am I just lucky?

The closest I ever came to having one turned into a normal dream at the very beginning when I gave Chucky(whom I was afraid of as a kid) a bag of chips then he went away.

  • Curious about how many other there may be?

I was just wondering, how many other people seem to lack the ability to worry? I mean to the point to where your faced with the worst case scenario of a serious issue, yet your not the slightest bit concerned.

  • How much apathy is a bad thing?

Ever since I was around 10 I've become very apathetic. I mean to the point of where I dont even feel anger, worry, regret, joy and any other powerful emotion. The most extreme things I really feel anymore are "looking forward to it kinda," "would rather not do it," slight annoyance, but even with those I'm fine one way or the other.

Some people say it's bad to bottle in anger and other emotions, but for me it's like they dont even register or exist to ignore. My question is is anyone this apathetic and/or do you think it's a bad thing. I'm mainly just kinda curious.

  • Need your opinion.?

Alright so a few days ago I turned the corner of my hallway and saw what looked like my leg going into my room(like I walked in there and only saw from the shin down go out of sight.). I figured I was just seeing things and thought nothing of it.

No more than 10 minutes later my brothers friend went into the room talking to me. I was confused since I heard him doing it and I was in the kitchen. When he came out he was confused also saying he saw me walk in there. I was a little creeped out after we both described seeing the same thing.

I can only assume one of the following:

    It was a coincidence.

a ghost is screwing with me.

or a doppleganger is out to get me.

    What do you all think?

  • Do you consider being anti-social a bad thing?

Just wondering how many people out there believe that disliking society and prefering seclusion is a bad thing.

  • Could this be a bad thing?

It seems everyone whom I explain my way thinking and attitude towards life and death towards seems to think I should get help or I'm some super depressed person or something. I'd rather not go into detail just to save time from reading "go seek counseling and medication now" reply's.

Basically I'm content with life and refuse to change my personality with meds, but everyone thinks my way of thinking is wrong and I NEED to change it....What I'm asking is could this be a possible sign of mental instability, or just an uncommon outlook on life?
