This fall I am going to be participating in National Student Exchange from a college in a medium sized Wisconsin city to Towson University near Baltimore, Maryland. I have never been to Baltimore, but I have been to D.C. and Philadelphia for a small high school trip. However, that is my extent of my experience in the eastern U.S. Although I am excited and see that TU looks like a great school and a safe place to live, I want to travel around the east while I am out there. More recently, I have been researching the reputation of the area and uncovered that Baltimore is considered the most dangerous cities in the United States. Although I know I would stick to the tourist areas in Baltimore when I visited, I still can't seem to get the idea of being NEAR a dangerous city for that long. Does anyone have any tips for traveling in to Baltimore, even just to get to the airport/train station, and what areas I could safely visit and what areas to avoid (North, South, East, West area distinction would help). Also, does anyone have any tips for traveling alone throughout the east on public transportation as well as any information/experience you have about TU.

to change it up. My hair is really long right now, in fact, I havn't had my hair this long in a long long time. But I don't know if the way my hair curls will do justice to this haircut. however, since that cut is only a little bit shorter than my hair now, it probably isn't a bad idea. What do you think?

I really would like a tattoo of three birds on my foot to symbolize my grandmother, my mother, and me. However, I am not sure if I should get it in red or black. I really like the look of red tattoos, but I don't know how well red ink ages. I've heard however, that if you take care of your tattoo it ages beautifully. What do you think?

Ok, so I'm participating in the Rockets 4 Schools competition this year and we are really stuck on coming up with a payload. I think the rocket is about 5ft, or a little less but our payload can only be 1 and 1/2 pounds. No live animals, nothing explosive. We are trying to think of something creative, and we are zeroing in on something that is affected by either acceleration or pressure. We don't like the ideas or a raw egg, probes w/lab pro, or anything dealing with just "collecting" data. Again, something creative, affected by pressure or acceleration.

Ok, so I really really really like the hp touchsmart notebook however I can't really buy it until I'm going off to college which is in two years.

My first question is.... will this laptop still be available and maybe be cheaper. There will also probably be better models right?

My second question: Would getting this laptop be better or getting a regular macbook be better. I've never used a mac so I wasn't sure if I should change. I feel just fine with using windows.

Any other alternative laptops that have a flip 180 degree touch screen like the hp touchsmart?

Its not that I don't like it, I just regret that I cut off like 3 inches! You see, I've been growing out my hair for a super long time, because my hair was cut really short in January 2009. So I was just wondering if anyone had an style suggestions. I do straighten it sometimes but i really just need quite little things I can do with it. Don't just tell me to put barrets in it please. (I already died it dark natural brown.)

Ok so I bought Wild Berry Wink Covergirl Lipstain

When I put it on I found that it is really a very dark berry color. Franticly I rubbed my lips and somehow got them to a lighter color. Does this lighter color look natural?

Ok, so I'm a junior in high school and I know the time is ticking down to when I have to choose my major. I know that I could just go undecided and there is not hurry, I just want to discover all the possible majors I can. When I was in elementry and middle school I think I really wanted to become an RN. I know that I would be good at it, but there is one thing. My brain keeps thinking that I'm way to smart to be an RN. I have a straight 4.0 unweighted and love everything from history, science, art, english, and music. I've thought of becoming an architect, interior designer, optomotrist, psychiatrist, or RN. I love school but I don't want to be a teacher. What should I do? Please list possible majors I could look up? Thanks :)

and as you can see my hair is quite curly and thats because I got a perm in febuary. Well my hair without the perm is actually pretty wavy, and so when I get my hair cut will probably be a little curly and wavy. So I'm looking for a haircut that is about 1 - 1/2 inches below the chin with bangs/fringe for sure. However, if you think something else will look good on me, post it. Please include links to pictures.

P.s I will def. straighten my hair most of the time, so please post pictures of straight hair so its easier for my stylist to cut it. Thanks :)
