I'm currently enrolled in a finance program at my local college. I've spent two years in it and can safely say I hate it.

At this point I have no idea what to do. My only qualifications are for programs involving math, which I am not fond of. I've tried asking my parents their opinion and they just say "stay in it", I've tried asking guidance counselors in the college and they told me "stay in it". So I've had to resort to asking the internet for help.

Have any of you taken a program you've hated and what have you done?

My uncle got me a job in his company a few weeks back but I really don't want to work there anymore. It takes 2 hours to bus down there and the pay isn't that good. I was given a new job offer in a closer company and I don't know how to tell my uncle I don't want to work there anymore.

I have to do a speech but I am torn between sloths (animal) or England. All i have to do is talk for 5 minutes.

My Guinea pigs are running around and squeaking pretty loudly. Why are they doing this?

I really hate college. I wake up in a great mood, the song " It's a beautiful day" is playing in my head, I look out the window and wave at my neighbour and then say "F***, I have economics at 8:00 today." My day then proceeds to get worse. I don't have much in common with my class mates, I've got a friend in my program but he can't dull the pain of a accounting course. Does anyone else feel this way about their program? I'll take good or bad views.

All my friends who are women always say these 3 rehearsed things.

1. Funny

2. Treats me right

3. Good looking

I have met their boyfriends. They are none of these things. What do you really want!

I keep getting random texts from the boss and upper management from my work asking where I work and at what store am I working at? Yet when I respond they never reply and keep asking. If I try to ask them they are never around and my manager says he's heard nothing about it. Does anyone who what they're doing? It's a part time job.

I know this sounds very weird and kind of psychotic but sometimes when I'm at work and I'm incredibly bored I hear the same quiet tune in my head over and over again until I snap out of it. It sounds kind of like really high pitched whispering. Anyone else ever had this happen? is my brain just trying to entertain itself?

A relative of mine got me a job working in a bar as a dish boy. I've decided that this job isn't for me. The owner walks around saying how much he hates the bar and my co-workers are some of the most unpleasant people I've ever met. ( one is a current cocaine addict ). Anyways I want to quit. What is a reasonable time I should work before quitting. I don't plan on using them as a reference because of their poor reputation.

I'm just curious as to whether or not the majority of people in the Czech Republic can english as I was watching a show and this girl said she wanted to move there yet didn't speak the language.

In my history class we are doing a group project and I'm partnered up with this girl, who is fairly shy and this other guy who is alright. Anyways the girl is very cold towards me, If I ask her a question she answers " I don't know " or gives a very vague answer, like I asked her " What should our policy be towards religion?" and she responded with " anything is ok. " and only will look me in the eyes for a few seconds max. I've had her in a few of my other classes before but we never really talked. she is nice to the other group mate and will tell him in depth thoughts. Anyone know why she might be acting like this?

A friend of mine tried to tell me that college students get paid to attend schooling for whatever degree they choose. It doesn't seem true to me. Anyone know if he is right?

I have 2 female rats who have become very unpleasant. In the beginning they were very loving and would come to me when I called them but over time they have become ill-tempered and if I go to pick them up they scratch me and scream, they've even bit me, which i've never had them do before. I play with them any chance I get so it's not like I've neglected them. I've had them for about 3 months and I got them from a pet store but I don't see why they would become aggressive after a while.

My family is a English and have lived in England for their entire life up until maybe 20 years ago. Well I want to move back to Portsmouth, England and join up in the navy to carry on my family's tradition. If I were to come to England and become a citizen would I have to wait a few years before becoming eligible to join the navy?

A friend of mine I've known for 4 years stopped talking to me because her new boyfriend said it makes him jealous. So she stopped talking to me for nearly a month and out of the blue comes back and says " it's my birthday " and I said " oh. is that so? well happy birthday. " then she said she wants to be friends again. Well I told her I don't need a friend like her. Do you think I'm in the wrong for not giving her another chance?
