Green tea is a natural antiseptic and can be used to treat cats' ear infection. Steep a bag of green tea for five minutes in water and cool off. Apply two drops in each ear with an ear dropper and gently massage the liquid inside the ear canal by placing your finger outside the cat's ear. Repeat the green tea ear remedy daily. Apple cider vinegar has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties and is a good home remedy for treating cats' ear infection.

Mix one part of apple cider vinegar to two parts of water (such as half a cup of apple cider vinegar and one cup of water) for a homemade ear infection remedy. Dip a cotton ball into the mixture and wipe the inside of the cat's ears, as this will help remove any debris and brown discharge. Do not poke inside the ear canal with your finger, as that can damage cat's hearing or cause other ear problems.

With an ear dropper, place two drops of apple cider vinegar in the cat's ear and massage. Ask for assistance to hold the pet down, if the cat is unwilling to let you apply this remedy.

Olive oil

Apply two drops of olive oil with an ear dropper into your cat's ears to soothe irritation and provide itching relief. Olive oil is a good home remedy to use as it will also smother ear mites.

Combine two tablespoons of olive oil and one drop of mineral oil and use this as a homemade ear cleaning solution. Do not use tea tree oil though as it is toxic to cats.

Will these work and not hurt kitten?

I'm going to get some java fern for my tank but they don't sell lava rock in the size I need and its really expesive. Can I just get some from my lava rock in the yard? I would Soak in hot dechlorinized water.

I went for a walk today and I saw a white husky puppy tied up to the tree. He/She is really dirty and doesn't have food or water. I don't know how long this puppy has been there but they only had about a 5ft leash that it was tied up with and there was a kiddy pool with some water in it but it wasn't close enough to be able to cool the dog or to get a drink. It's really hot, 90 degrees, and I'm worried about the dog. I have no idea how long the dog has been there though, they might have just let him out to go potty but he looks like he's been there awhile. Is this illegal? How do I help the poor thing?

Is there any plants that can be in 50-60 degree water and don't need a lot of lighting

My cat recentlly died and we want to get 2 kittens. My aunt lives on a farm and has a cat who had kittens. We don't know how many there are yet but we do now she has kittens somewhere in the barn. We can only get female cats. What are the chances that there will be 2 female kittens in the litter? We are getting them spayed, vaccinated, and microchiped at the vet too.

I have a 5 gallon tank with a filter, heater, and silk plants. I let the tank run for 3 days then bought the betta I wanted. He looked fine when I got him but then he started looking bad and died a day later. I only had him for less than a week so I went back and asked if I could have a refund, since the fish was $20. He took a sample of the small amount of dead fish water then said it had ammonia in it(no duh) so he wouldnt give me a refund. Well I think this is not the reason the fish died because the bettas there were looking sick anyway(the betta I got was the only healthy one at the time) but the guy tried telling me they had the healthiest bettas around.I have a betta in a 2 gallon and he has been in there for 1/2 a year. Anyway, I wanted to get him a bigger tank but since this one is open now I want to just put him in there. The water is still in the tank and the filter is still going. Should I rinse it all out completly or just let the filter run couple days first?

Oh and the tank is dechlorinated and I no not to use soap

Where can I buy a 5 gallon tank divider? I don't need one for my betta but I need one in my quarintine tank for my other fish. Also can I cut a 10 gallon divider to get it to fit?

I got on the computer and my brother started screaming and now he is singing about how big of a jerk i am. He is on the computer at least 2/3 of the time he is awake, I get on every other day for 10 minutes. He is almost 10 and yet he still sleeps with my mom, gets everything he wants by getting mad if you dont give him money(my mom feels sorry than gives him $20), and he will threaten to kill you in your sleep if he gets mad( I sleep with my door locked). He also gets bathed by my parents, decides where we go when we go out to eat, and I get blamed for his socks on the floor, trash in the window sill, have to pick up when his friends go home because I'm the older sister and I need to learn how to take care of children( I personally hate kids and never want any). Does any one have a worse brother? Dont tell me we will be best friends when we are older because that would be false!

I just got a black orchid betta and It's in a 5 gallon tank with a heater, light, filter, and silk plants.The betta looks really happy and healthy and I was thinking it would be nice to put something else in it. I was thinking one of these chooses would be good:

1 apple snail

1 mystery snail

1 african dwarf frog

or

3 zebra nerite snails

which of these would be good with a betta? Any other suggestions are appreciated too. Oh, and I forgot to ask: Do any of these reproduce really fast?

I when to my dads house yesterday and he showed me his tank and he had like 1,000 snails. He said he got 1 and it reproduced into more and more. So I really don't want this to happen in my tank! Thanks!

I just filled my tank with water and I am going to let it run for 3 days before I add 2 fish to my 10 gallon. I'm using the fishcycling meathod. I have Tetra SafeStart to add bacteria when I put them in. I know that I need to put that in right before I add the fish. Anyways the filter info that it came with says not to put it in tap water but the dechlorinater says to add right before adding fish. So do I need to put it in now or later?

What made you want this fish? and is there any story about your fish?

I have a small fantail goldfish. When I got him the pet store employee told me that goldfish like to live in small places and a 1 gallon was good. So I've had him in a 1 gallon tank for about a year and he hasnt grown much so I went to the same store and asked what was going on and the employee who helped me said my fish needed at least a 20 gallon tank. I really dont have the money to spend on a 20 gallon tank and the guy said i should change to a 40 gallon after he grows more. I dont know why the person before told me that goldfish dont need much but now i need a bigger tank. I really dont know what to do with him because i cant just go out and buy a new tank but i dont know what else to do. Please help me. I dont want my fish to suffer.

i have a boy and girl ferret. Jupiter is the boy and Rosie is the girl. Jupiter is the right size but Rosie is pretty skinny. I feed them store bought ferret food. I want rosie to at least gain a little weight because it scares my to see how skinny she is. I tried to give them ferretvite but they wouldn't eat it. They wont eat chopped up ham or chicken. I don't want to feed them raw food because its expensive. What type of dry food should i feed them and am i feeding them bad stuff. What should i do or try.

I have a very picky cat that hates toys and treats but loves ice cream, pizza crust, and fish food. Seriously, she will knock down the fish food so she can eat it. She likes going outside and she likes being petted. She also likes to sleep on my bed but not in cat beds. Shes a really weired cat you could try to give her tuna or fish and she just looks at you disgusted. I want to get her something for Xmas though please help.

I have two ferrets and I keep finding little pieces of cloth in their poo. I keep towels in their cage along with a hammock to let them burrow but they chew them up. If I take the towels out they poo all over the place. What do I do?
