I want to go visit my girlfriend in Milan, Italy. And since I need to apply for a visa before from the counselate, they require a stamped invitation letter, showing that they will host me..etc

Does anyone has an idea where she can authenticate this Host of Declaration with a stamp?

She went to the municipality of Milan, and they refused to stamp, saying they don't do this for 10yrs now. They directed her to the immigration office at the police, and they said they don't do.

i'm an Egyptian, i'm in a relationship with an Italian girl, who is currently studying arabic in Jordan, sharing an appartment with 2 other italian girls

Something happened, which she views as normal to the western people. She was actually telling me the story so i can laugh, but i didn't see it as funny at all.

I'll brief you what happened, and you (western or non) advice me on such a thing. Maybe i havent been around foreigners enough to realize (though i have been living with different nationalities and backgrounds throughout my whole life)

Here's what went on: (mentioning nationality here is NOT racism, i see it greatly related to the subject and her arguement about "normal in the western world")

The door knocks at almost midnight..my girlfriend opens, and it's a Georgian man she has never met before.

the guy says he's a friend of their neighbor who lives right across the hall..and he was drunk by the way

he invites my girlfriend and her friend for dinner and they refuse saying it's too late, and they have already eaten

then, they chat while standing at the door for almost 30 mins..

then the nieghbor himself, who is a Jordanian comes out, also drunk, and then the two guys offer the two girls to go over to their place so they could listen to the Georgian anthem, which the guy plays "well" on the guitar

the two girls hesistate for a while, then they decide to go..though the two girls have seen the neighbor only once before, and never seen the other man, and she and her friend knew they were both drunk

they stay in the guys' appartment for 5-10mins, until the neighbor drunkly falls asleep, and the other one kept playing the guitar not caring his friend fell asleep beside him (hahaha! that was supposed to be the funny part...)

now, i realize that nothing happened, and that my girlfriend didnt have any bad intentions..but the two men were drunk, and she and her friend could clearly see it..and if the two guys have decided to do somethin (touch, rape, hurt..etc), the two girls would've been totally helpless and not able to defend themselves...

I fully understand the reason of the economic crisis that hit the USA in September 2008, and the roots of the problems which date back to the end of the 20th century.

My question is as follows: Why is the rest of the world affected by the crisis? I know that many foreign and multinational businesses operate within the USA, and those companies have been affected as well

But is this the only reason that many countries' economies have been hit by this crisis?

I just bought a D-Link IP Survellience Camera. I set it up in my store so I can monitor things remotely.

I'm able to view the camera when I connect my laptop to the router I have in the store, but I'm not able to view it from outside the store.

I have a static IP address. And I've downloaded the software off the website, but it won't log-in; gives me an ID or Password error, while when I log-in from the web browser, the same username and password work and view the camera

What exactly is missing? What did I do wrong? Please help me on this!

I don't have adminstrator rights on the computer at work. I want to install MSN Messenger, but the guys from the IT dept. say it's against the company's rules!

I got a copy of Windows Messenger from my own pc, but it won't sign in (gives me a "network unavailble" error, although the network status is Ok)

Web Messenger works, but it always disconnects, and it's SLOW; I HATE IT!
