I've had this Vitapur water dispenser sitting around a while and the water tastes kind of moldy. It was sitting there without use for about 5 months, so something must have grown in there. I thought it was something in the plastic bottle, but I got a new one, refilled, and smell is still there. Since then i've used distilled vinegar mixed with water to clean it out (both hot & cold spouts) but the bad taste is still there. Is there anyway I can neutralize this aweful smell?

Ok, so here's my current setup: 20 gallon tank, with 5 goldfish with Tetra Whisper 10(i know it's not the ideal space for goldfish, so please don't lecture me - they've lived in a 10gal tank for 3 years, so this is probably heaven for them).

Now I want a good filter that will last and provide minimal cleaning and keep the water clear. At the same time, I don't want to pay 70 dollars for a quality filter if I dont' have to. I've narrowed it down to these filters:

-Marineland bio-wheel pro canister filtration system H.O.T Magnum Pro (this is probably the most efficient, but it's 70 dollars)

-Marineland penguin 150 or 200 (i've heard good things about marineland, and they seem pretty efficient)

-Aqua Clear 200 or 300 (people seem to like the ease of changing the sponge filters)

-Tetra whisper 20 or 30 (underrated, but probably most popular)

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

I want your opinion on which of the two internal filters would be better for my tank. The Tetra 10i(up to 10gal) is 11.99, while the Eheim (up to 12 gal) 2206 is 24.99. Is the Eheim much better? I've read good reviews for both, I just wanted to see if anyone has experience (good or bad) with either of these.

I just set up a new 20gal tank with a 10gal filter. I know eventually I will need another 10gal filter to support the needs of all the waste. Should I buy a new 20 gal filter to replace the 10gal one? Or can I just buy another 10gal? If I do buy another 10 gal, where will I put it? There isn't much room on the fixture on the light cover.

I upgraded from a 10 gallon to a 20 gallon tank. The water in the 10 gallon was pretty murky, but not unmanageable. The problem is, I decided to start fresh and do a COMPLETE water change, so none of their 10gal water was transfered into the 20gal. Now the fish tank looks great, but the fish don't. They are 5 plain goldfish that i've had for about 3 years. I've done complete changes before and they were fine. I made sure the chemical neutralizers were added to the tap water prior to adding the fish back.

I do realize I should have transfered a good portion of the old water from the 10 gal tank, but what's done is done.. Anyway, at this point, they're on the bottom with their fins down. Is it possible they can die? What can I do to make it easier on them / relieve fish stress?

I've seen the previews for Starcraft 2 over and over again. Decided to replay the old starcraft campaigns for the hell of it. I can't stop playing again! Damnit.. there goes time down the drain.

I wanted to use Sprint Vision for only one month, in which time I want to download a bunch of .jar games and apps like mad onto my phone. Can I do this without being charged for casual data usage(besides the $15 monthly charge)? Can I easily cancel Sprint Vision before the month is over?

Many upon many bad experiences on the road, but i'll share today's.

So i'm driving on the freeway in the 2nd lane from the right, passing cars in the merging lane(1st lane). As i'm passing a pickup truck, he swerves into my lane, making me slam on my breaks and nearly crash into a car in the 3rd lane. Luckily no accident occured. WHAT a piece of s h i t.

Have any of you been in an accident due to these horrid drivers?

So, I was with ING Direct for the past few years, who's rate went down to a horrid 3.65%. Yesterday I signed up with FNBO Direct, which was 5.05%, but to my disturbance it's now 4.3%!!

AMTrust and OneUnited have interest rates of over 5% still, will they drop too? Only thing with those 2 banks is I've read some bad reviews on them.

Any recommendations on a good Internet savings bank with a high interest rate and good reliable service?

I just got a bundle deal for Nintendo Wii and 3 of the games really suck and aren't worth opening. I tried going to target to exchange for them store credit, but they won't give store credit to anything over $40 dollars. Anywhere else that would accept Wii games as store credit?
