I am 23, I just graduated from college June 2016 (so I was a full time student in 2016). I am returning for grad school this fall. I filed as an independent on my taxes and my parents are saying even though I filed as an independent on my taxes, they could still claim me as a dependent on their taxes? Is this true? Or should I advise them not to?

I have a HP m9300t intel 2 quad processor. It's currently on 32 bit os but I want to upgrade it to 64 bit. I've checked to make sure it's compatible with 64 bit already. do I need a disc for that? And would I need to do a system recovery? I may have lost my recovery disc.

My dad has a big spot on his leg that keeps growing in size, its about 3 inch in diameter. Theres multiple spots on both legs that are slightly smaller as well. The spots are a dark red color that looks like blood. The texture of the skin remains the same. He works as a bucher at a market so he stands often. Not sure what this might be, any ideas?

I've been having an extremely painful muscle spasm on my right trapezius delt that has been hurting more and more everyday. On Saturday morning I woke up and felt my right shoulder blade swollen and inflamed. I took ibuprofen that I got from my doctor in the summer thats suppose to be really strong and I also iced it but it doesn't relieve the pain at all. So I can't figure out how to recover. At first it was just the trapezius delt muscle that ached then my neck started hurting a lot when I make a slight turn, the next day I could barely sit up from bed without losing my breath and today I can barely stand up without losing my breath so its really weird.

I drink about 5-6 times a yearnd this is the first time I had a sudden sharp pain which I think is occurring in either my stomach or pancreas but how can I tell the difference? I drank about five shots with friends tonight and after going to bed I woke up in the middle of the night with this severe pain that has been acheing in my abdominal for over an hour. There's also a little noise making in my stomachand I feel really bloated. Laying on my back increases the pain. Based off the symptoms can anyone estimate what type of pain I'm going though or how I could treat it (its hurting right now but not painful enough to go to the hospital) thank you for your time.

I just got my IB results in and I got the diploma and some credits in some areas, but just wondering if the diploma itself gives any college credit? Im going to a state university.

Im going to vegas this summer but I found out that Gameworks is closing/closed! Im 18 so not much I could do... Does anyone know what they are replacing Gameworks with?

I was wondering if a chromebook works just like a laptop? Like will i be able to download microsoft word, online games, etc etc like normal laptops? I am looking to buy a laptop for college next year, will the chromebook be a good choice? Are there better laptops for college than a chromebook?

Why is it that for some people they feel more tired when their sleep is disrupt then sleeping shorter hours. For example: if for a certain day I slept 8 hours total but I woke up in the middle of the night at like 4 am and go back to sleep til 7. And for another day I sleep 5-6 hours straight. Why is it that when I sleep longer hours but I suddenly wake up to for example go to the bathroom, or when my sleep gets disrupt I feel more tired than when I sleep shorter hours with no disruption/waking up.

I know SL has no credit so ill mention the HLs. Biology, English, History, and Visual Arts. So 4 HL. I'm in full IB Diploma. I already got accepted into my top choice university. So lets say I get a 4 in biology and 5-6 in the other HL subjects? Does the diploma earn any credits? It would be really relieving if anyone will give me a prediction from previous experience of IB thanks!

Prompt: Using history, ethics, and the arts (these are areas of knowledge in Theory of Knowledge Class TOK) examine the claim that it is possible to attain knowledge despite problems of bias and selection. (Selection is basically saying despite problems of "how we decide what information to use in life, like which info should we include in text books and how do we choose it? So selection is addressing problems of reliability. Bias is addressing perspectives.") Good examples for this prompt would really help or helping me break down this prompt would really really help also thank you!
