I've been wondering about this for months. I'm not sure if anyone knows this or if it's proprietary, but any help would be great.

Ok, so I just bought a Canon HF200 camcorder - it's HD. And apparently they don't give me software to directly play the videos on the computer. I'm going to be recording this and sending it to multiple people. I've tried conversion programs and it took me something like 5 minutes to convert a medium quality 15 second clip to a different format. So an hour video could take the better part of a day. I don't mind paying for a program (<$50) if it will run the videos straight up without converting or a quicker converter. I'm considering returning the camcorder and buying another one which doesn't run on this ridiculously obscure format. If I could get some options that would be great.

I've had headaches for over 7 years and have tried everything in the book - chiropractic twice, physical therapy twice, a dozen different drugs thousands of dollars on procedures and every stretch and exercise you can imagine. I tore the muscle from the back of my skull and it didn't heal correctly. I'm sick of messing around with doctors who don't care and really sick of wasting my money.

I'm looking to run Solidworks 2008 easily or the occasional game. What should I look at to maximize my investment? This will be an aftermarket card.

Do I specifically need the Xbox 360 wireless usb adapter to sucessfully connect to live, or can I buy just any old wireless usb adapter to connect? Yes I already have a wireless router.

How long has it been since DVDs were considered a normal thing to have 5, maybe 7 years? I think that technology is moving too quick and much of the infrastructure to support it isn't there. Many common people just bought their first DVD player a few years back and now you want them to purchase some $300-$600 high def. DVD player just because it looks somewhat better? I think not. I seriously doubt this will be a normal format for at least a few years to come.

Yes I am being sarcastic. For those who don't know it is an open content free only encyclopedia. If you have a question check the subject first on wikipedia and if you don't understand it then ask it on here. You'd be suprised at how many topics from yahoo answers could be answered in less than 30 seconds on wikipedia.

I like helping people with personal problems but in the end all you are going to get is a boatload of opinions and a few people that halfway know what they are talking about.

I have received student loans since my freshmen year and my EFC is something like 26,000 a year. The problem is my parents filed bankruptcy. Why is this not taken into account? They barely have enough to pay for regular bills so they don't have the money to pay for a college education. The really sad thing is I go to a state school.
