I'll print a little book for myself and family showing pictures of wildlife at the cottage. I'll have chapters ... Amphibians & Reptiles; Arthropods & Insects; Birds; Fish; and Mammals. How would you suggest I deal with the Earthworm, a Slug and a Snail? I could include a final chapter called Miscellaneous but perhaps you have a better idea for me. Thanks in advance.

My Olympus 790 SW is taking pictures that are faded and striated in shades of grey. I've tried two different memory cards, both take the same type of picture. I uploaded a picture and it turn out the same, so I figure it's not just the camera display. Any thoughts?

I teach ESL to adults. Some of my classes are literacy level ESL. I don't really like the printable traceable worksheets for the alphabet that I have found on the web. I'd like to make my own, but I don't know how to make my own traceables.

Can you get me started making traceables for the alphabet?

I'm working hard to understand these matters so please be patient with me.

According to my Control Panel information, I have 5 printers & faxes. As far as I personally know I only have 1. Control Panel shows my Dell V310, as well as a Fax, a Microsoft XPS Document Writer, a MS Publisher Color Printer, and Send To OneNote 2010. Why? Are the latter 4 subsets of the Dell V310 or something else? I'd like to "remove" any that I don't really have.

Can you help me understand what I'm seeing? Thanks in advance.

We'll be touring Vietnam through March, 2012. Normally, I like good jeans and nice T-shirts plus walking shoes or sandals. I understand it will be very warm, if not hot, but I'm asking my question more from a point of cultural senstivity. Should I pack a jacket?

I just downloaded a few recommended Windows upgrades, and it changed the look of my desktop. I agreed to upgrade to IE9. Now, I can't see a little window for searching on the net. I considered downloading the google tool bar, but received a warning that this could be bad for my computer. What I'm really looking for is a nice, obvious internet search window to put on my desktop.

(I hate upgrades that change things too much.) (Sorry, had to vent.)

I want to write about some mushrooms I fried, and I want to use the word "sauté". Would it be:

i) Sautéed mushrooms;

ii) Sautéd mushrooms; or

iii) Sauté mushrooms

We're having a Canadian-themed party, and what better to have on the dessert table but dozens of butter tarts, but which bakery makes the best ones?

I realize we're talking about a valley in Germany, but is it two places or one and the same? I suspect you're going to tell me that ruhr and ruwer are the same word, with ruhr being an older spelling. Both versions show up on internet articles about wine. Would you say one version is 'more correct' (sorry) than the other?

And by the way, this is more of a wine region question, than pure geography.

I have difficulty teaching the difference between the use of the simple past as in sentence 1 and the past continuous as in sentence 2. As an editor, I prefer sentence 1, but I know that example 2 is also legitimate. Grammar textbooks often provide examples such as sentence 2 as a legitimate way of using the past continuous. Before I can teach this, I need to understand it better myself. Any thoughts?

The address we have for this hotel says, "Residencial Paraisol Tarragona Spain", but I have found online the following address "Calle Ciudad de Reus, 19, 43840 Salou, Tarragona". I see there is a train station in both Tarrragona and Salou. Honestly, I don't understand (yet) the template for Spanish addresses. It looks to me as though Salou is a neighbourhood of Tarragona. I can't find anything more precise about where the hotel in question is either. Online maps aren't providing me with much, (except confusion).

If you have any location knowledge for this hotel, and can tell me which train station is best for exiting the train, I'd be grateful.

Thanks to those of you who answered my previous question about getting the train at the Barcelona airport. I feel like I'm making progress. :-)

We are a group of 4 adults who will arrive at the Barcelona international airport, and will want to get from there to Tarragona. I understand we take a train at the airport to Sants station in the city centre and there buy our tickets to Tarragona. We don't speak Spanish. (Don't ask why not, etc.) We'll have luggage of course. I guess I really just need some reassurances that we can do this, without too much difficulty. Your helpful comments would be greatly appreciated.
