Help a Bridesmaid Out!?
I am going to be standing up in a wedding in March for a dear friend. I am not a girly girl, have very very little experience with formal wear and have no idea how to accessorize this outfit. I need help picking out shoes and jewelry (I don't even know what kind of jewelry I should be wearing for this). That sounds like a simple enough question to answer but adding to the problem are the following issues:
I have very short hair (I clipper shave it every week with a 3/8" guard). Even if I wanted to grow it out I do not have time (the wedding is in March, it would likely still be at an awkward length by then).
I am petite (5' 2")
The dress as it came is strapless (but I need to get it tailored anyway since I have a small chest so I will probably attach the optional straps) and full length. The bridesmaids dresses are bright blue.
HELP. I am fully capable of working my particular look on a casual and business-appropriate level but I am worried that in a formal setting I will just look like a total nutcase if I am not careful (this will be compounded by the fact that I almost never wear dresses so I am going to be uncomfortable as it is).
Any advice is much appreciated.

Hello folks! Due to some tendon strains in my knees I went to physical therapy about six months ago and was given a battery of workouts targeting my thighs and butt. They are great but since I have been doing them regularly I need a more advanced targeted workout. I am pretty decent at self-directed stuff so I'd like some DVDs. If you have used one that gave you great results, recommend it to me here! I'd prefer something that doesn't require equipment but I already own a balance ball so that would be fine.
