Happy!
Does anyone know of a site where I can read about the ethical standards WITHIN Human Resources?....?
...including the staffing. Is it ethical to have the head of one department (Accounting, Marketing, Operations, etc.) be the one HR person for the company? This is in regards to a smaller company - less than 100 employees.

14 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoAny experience with skin flattering bathroom wall color and lighting (the bulbs)?
Specific light bulb brands/types and brand colors would be great! The bathroom is basically beige/cream all over. I want to stay away from pinks/roses.

13 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoUS planned 9/11 attacks on C-Span?
No assumptions about me or attacks on me please. I'm just telling you what I saw.
While channel surfing I came across the channel C-Span which showed a panel of people discussing and presenting examples as to why they believe that the US government planned 9/11. I heard of this conspiracy before but I didn't think that it was being taken this seriously by any group. Have any of you heard anything (specifics and sources please) pointing towards the US committing the 9/11 attacks?
For arguments sake, suppose the US did plan this attack, what do you (especially the Americans) think the punishment should be for the people involved?
11 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoDo you think if sex were held more sacred in society that rapists would receive tougher sentences?
Please feel free to discuss your own society/country and whether or not you feel that the sentences given to rapists are appropriate and if you think your society's view of sex contributes to the laws pertaining to rape or sexual molestation.
For this question "sacred" doesn't necessarily mean within marriage or heterosexual. My intention is not to start a battle regarding these two issues.

3 AnswersOther - Sports1 decade agoDo you believe that Hell is eternal or set up like a prison term?
Maybe some people did some really bad things, but I find it difficult to believe that because some people made bad choices outweighing the good, they would end up in Hell forever and/or be in the company of the most evil people who have walked this earth?
25 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs it possible that the creation of all of these religions is God's real test?
To see how well we would get along despite our differences, and to see the things we would do and say in His name, including judging another's fate, either directly with our words/lips, in our minds or by what we tell our children?
23 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDo you truly believe or not believe that hijab is mandatory in Islam? Why?
There is debate over this. Though most Muslimes believe in it I'm finding that more and more do not or are questioning it (or at least more are feeling comfortable enough to admit these views). It's not that they believe it to be part of the religion and don't like it. They really don't believe that it is a part of Islam, but simply culture made to be part of Islam. The debate seems to be mainly about the translation of the Arabic in the Qur'an and its interpretation and whether or not the saying of the Prophet Muhammed has any relevance since it was written by man and not revealed by God as the Muslims believe is the case with the Qur'an.
