  • Anyone know about a 1980's Monopoly-like game featuring Searcy, Arkansas?

In the late 1980's several local business-owners were given the opportunity to pay to be featured around the game board of a Monopoly-like game (set up exactly the same, but I was very young and don't know if it was through the Monopoly company or not. I only barely remember it.) The game board featured an old picture of Main Street in Searcy, Arkansas. My parents had a space on the board, I believe, with the Searcy Beauty College. I can't find any information about the game online and I wonder if anyone else knows of the board game?

  • What is the name of this one song about a teenage girl with a crush on a nerd?

When I worked at Journey's shoe store in the mall, there was a music video that played fairly often and it was this hot teenage girl who had a crush on this nerd and she wanted him to notice her. I can't remember the name of it or really any of the lyrics. I just remember bits and pieces of the video.

  • Anyone know this Swedish song?

I believe the title of it was Christopher Columbus but I may be mistaken. The song is over 15 years old and I can't find it. I had it when I was a teenager on a cassette taped sent to me from Sweden. I don't remember the name of the group but I do remember part of the translation. The beginning line of the song is "Good morning school master" then he apologizes for being late and then says "but I was lost in a dream. And the chorus repeated "Christopher Columbus" in it but I don't know what it said.

I know these are meager scraps of details and probably nobody is going to know what I'm talking about... but if you do I would be soooooooo thankful. ^_^

  • What can a person do to combat boredom with right-sided paralysis after a stroke?

My husband is 31 years old and recently suffered a stroke. His right arm is completely paralyzed and his right leg is weak. His speech is slurred and his word recall is poor. He used to play video games primarily as entertainment but he can't really do that anymore. He's so depressed and very very bored and can't think of anything to do to combat the boredom he now faces, being unable to work.

I don't know what to suggest he do without the use of his right arm. He can't really play sports or video games and because of the damage caused by the stroke, he can't read very well now either. So besides watching TV, what can he do? Also, we're super impoverished and can't afford to go on trips or go to movie theaters. Anyone know of any cheap/free activities a grown man with no local friends could do to keep occupied after a stroke??

  • On FaceBook can I selectively choose who sees when I'm online without blocking them completely?

I don't want to block these people and I don't want to be rude and hurt their feelings, but I hate getting jumped on and roped into a chat when I just hopped on to check my messages. How can I make it to where that a select few people cannot see that I'm online?

  • how do I wipe my hard drive?

I have a virus that's pretty aggressive. About the only program it will let me open is my internet browser. I can't even open Task Manager or even a text document. But that information is neither here nor there. What I want to know, is how do I go about wiping everything off my hard-drive down to nothing?

  • Can I make my own background on PowerPoint?

I made a simple jpg drawing that I'd like to use as a background in Power Point for a presentation I'm giving in my illustration class. But I don't know much about Power Point beyond the very basic, so is there a way I can use a jpg image I created myself and turn it into a background in Power Point?

  • Can't get rid of the hand tool in Photoshop or Corel!?

For some reason, in Photoshop and Corel Painter the hand tool won't go away! Even when I select the other tools (like paintbrush, magic wand, eraser, anything!) it shows that they are selected BUT the curser remains the hand and only functions as the hand.

I don't know how to go back to being able to use all the tools. I have no idea what's wrong! I just used Corel and Photoshop yesterday and they worked fine!

  • What was that popular flash website?

I used to go to a very popular website back some years ago and it had all kinds of videos and games people made themselves (like stick-figure zombie videos and flash-games). I think the little logo image for the website looked like a little tank. If anyone knows what site this is, please please let me know!

  • latch-hook craft question!?

I wanted to create my own latch-hook craft. I didn't want to do a store-bought one. But I can't find the grid-like "cloth" by itself. I was wondering either #1. Can one order or buy that grid-like thing by itself OR #2. so I could make my own, what size are those tiny little squares. In other words, how far apart are the lines?

  • These three words in Spanish, "ghost," "ground," "icing."?

I had to write a Spanish composition about an ideal party. But there are three words I cannot find the proper translation for. I need the word for "ghost" (like ghost-shaped cookies, but just the word for ghost) and "ground" (as in, the dirty floor of the earth under the sky. LOL! :) ) and "icing" or "frosting" or something. (I'm trying to talk about a cake with a particular kind of frosting or something.) Can someone help with those three words?

    Thank you soooo much!

  • In Spanish, how do you say: "planning" "poisoned" "instead of"?

As a class project, we're writing a scene like a soap opera in Spanish. I have most of it written, but there are a few words that I don't know and cannot find the translation to

    Planning

    poisoned

    instead of

    The sentences are (in English)

"My husband is planning a party."

"The maid drank the poisoned wine and died instead of my husband."

Please, can someone translate the listed words to be used correctly in the contex of the sentences I've given?
