I thought this scene came from Waterworld, but someone just made it very clear that this did NOT come from this movie.

All I remember is that the villain sticks some instrument in an enemy and it sucks all the water out of the person and then the villain drinks it. What the heck movie was this?

It's an 80's song and the only lyric I can remember is "I've never met a girl like you." but you know how many songs have that line in it?

I hadn't been to the gym in about 6 months and have grown terribly out of shape in the meantime. I was fine while I was exercising but the second I stopped and tried to move around I couldn't move normally. I kept dropping things; I almost fell; I couldn't hear anything. I realize that this is because I overdid it today, but how do I prevent that from happening if I feel fine while I'm exercising? Is there anything I can (besides more frequent trips to the gym) to prevent that from happening again?

I'm trying to remember a poem written, I believe, during the Romantic period (definitely before WW1). In the poem it's idealizing war and nationalism and the author says something about how even if he dies on foreign soil the place where he is buried will be a little spot of England.

I'm trying to contrast how war poetry changed over time in an English class I'm teaching, and I remember reading this poem in college but it's been too many years now.

I know technically "aren't" is correct because students is plural but it just doesn't sound right.

Just curious. I haven't heard anything, but live in California which is no where near the gulf states.

I know people are angry but it seems to just be with the company. I would think that if an American company polluted the waters near the UK to this degree that there would be some major American bashing.

I screwed up on my diet today and now want to eat something delicious for dinner.

I see some info for breakfast stuff, but I ate a bacon cheeseburger there. It was listed on the menu as having 770 calories but I need total fat grams and fiber as well.

It's an old movie and I don't know why but I think it was Australian.

Everyone on earth dies except the people who were already dying at that exact moment, they live for some reason. One guy thinks he's the only one on earth and goes crazy and starts believing he's god but then starts becoming normal again. He meets a woman and that's all I saw. I only watched part of it one early morning when I couldn't sleep.

Do you just hate Americans? Or is it funny?

I will acknowledge that there does seem to be an inordinate amount of American movie villains with UK accents.

When I import the converted avi file and when I play it in WMM the video is blank. I only get the audio. Help!
