  • Government employee background checks?

With more and more businesses and local Governments requiring criminal background checks on each potential employee, shouldn't the Government expand this trend and require background checks on each political candidate and current member of Congress and publicly post the information before elections? Make them pay for it like we have to and hire an independent company to do background checks!!!

  • Congress: Is all income public? Seriously doubt it!!!!?

With more and more members of Congress receiving secret money from lobbyists (Boehner alleged to have received hundreds of thousands a month); and hiding their millionaire and billionaire status; then why isn't their incomes public information (including name of lobbyists, amount received, income transferred into their spouses names, etc.)? If incomes are public, where are they posted?

  • Congress love them or limit them?

Since it appears that this Congress is the worst ever--rocked by scandals; altering White House correspondence; adultery rendezvous charged to taxpayers; leaving work early every Friday and charging to taxpayers; excessive spending waste while preaching of non-waste; receiving hundreds of thousands under-the-table monies from lobbyists to vote against America's progress; then how come more states haven't fought back by taking action to invoke term limits on the House representatives to give new, improved representatives a fighting chance?

  • Solidarity while our troops are at war? Why aren't Republicans honoring?

When Bush was President, the Democrats and Independents honored the Republicans' request not to bad mouth the President and show solidarity while our troops were at war!!!! Why aren't the Republicans doing the same when we have a half-Black President? Is it racism??
