Solidarity while our troops are at war? Why aren't Republicans honoring?

Many don't even honor the Commander-in-Chief of these troops.

The reason is because the current scandals rise to the level of seriousness that even black, liberal democrats in congress are seriously criticizing Obama's administration right now.

Also, the scandals do not seem to be directly related to whether or not we should or shouldn't be fighting in any particular conflict. Obama inherited all of the ongoing wars we are currently engaged in. And, all of our people are out of harms way in Libya, at the moment.

Right after 9/11 happened, Bush enjoyed a very high level of popular support for sending troops into combat, from the majority of Americans and both major political parties. The long-term implications of the War On Terror are now being questioned more frequently by everyone.

In general, Americans know that disagreement between the political parties doesn't necessarily extend into an expression of non-support for military personnel.

The Democrats honored the Republican's request not to bad mouth Bush?! Hahaha
