  • PS3 says "The router in use may not support IP fragments...?

    I bought my PS3 last year on Black Friday, and I had one for 2 years before then. I have played online with them the entire time using the same setup. It is a relatively crappy setup, but it has always worked until now.

    Broadband Internet

    >>

    Belkin Router 802.11 n

    >>

    NetGear WiFi Extender

    >>

    Direct Ethernet connection to extender

    The error message appears when I try to test connection. It says "The router in use may not support IP fragments, and the communication features of some games may be restricted. For details, contact the router manufacturer." The real in-game issues I face is when I try to play online, I get very severe intermittent lag. On Black Ops II, I will jump from 1 red bar to 4 green bars regularly, often skipping the second and third bar.

    I have already tried tweaking my MTU down to 576 instead of 1500, and the issues still appear. (I tried this hoping smaller packets would prevent fragmenting - I suppose it was just wishful thinking)

    The connection screen reads:

    Obtain IP address: Succeeded

    Internet Connection: Succeeded

    PlaystationNetwork: Succeeded

    UPnP: Enabled (or Disabled, I've tried both)

    NAT Type: Type 2

    Connection Speed (DL): -

    Connection Speed (UL): -

    Then of course the error message scrolling at the bottom of the page.

    I tried contacting both Belkin and NetGear, neither has any idea what the problem is nor can they offer any advice. Sony doesn't have a clue, and they just tell me to call Belkin and NetGear even when I told them they can't help.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • The 3 year rule is effecting people now, how long before...?

    The 3 year rule is effecting people now, how long before Liberals start to riot because their food stamps got cut off. California is giving extensions left and right to people, but soon it will take up more than 20% of their total recipients... How long will it be before the recipients start to riot and loot for food?

    And I know Conservatives use Welfare as well, but Liberals ARE the majority in this.

  • Do Liberals honestly believe that Obama is a superhero?

    If two people were hanging from a cliff (a white woman and you) a which would he do?

    1.) Save you

    2.) Save the white woman

    3.) Save both of you

    4.) Run away

    5.) Wait and see which one decision is more publicly supported

    6.) Kick you both off the cliff

  • Selective Service question?

    Should we get rid of Selective Service?

    For those that don't know, Selective Service is a registry that all 18-year old males need to register with. The purpose is to create a database from which to draw from in the event that the military or government institutes another draft (like in Vietnam)

    Now my question, Is this necessary? Is it constitutional? In this day and age, why are women still excluded from having to register?

  • If the next Con president...?

    If the next Con president changes the carpet in the oval office, how long until he is called a racist?

    This is to add to someone else's point that Bush Jr changed the carpet when he was elected.

  • Should America give credence to the John Q. Adams' foreign policy advice?

    John Quincy Adams's 4th of July Address - 1821

    http://www.presidentialrhetoric.com/historicspeech...

    ~~~
    In his speech, he warns America against meddling in European affairs, his philosophy was that Europe will always be in turmoil because it always has been in turmoil; the only way for us to insulate ourselves was to not associate with them, even France who several years prior helped in our Revolution. Additionally, he warns that America should not go searching for Monsters to destroy.
    Obviously, we have ignored his advice and it doesn't look like its working out too well for us.
    I see the pros here, a lot of them. A con would have been WW2 when our hand was forced, we had no choice - other cons concern current security.
    We have been chasing "monsters" around the entire world, so that part was ignored as well.
    Is isolationism the answer? If we had maintained isolationism through the post-WW2 world, would these problems still be here?
  • Libs and Cons: Do you honestly believe the government has your best interests at heart?
    This is a serious question.
    I have made it no secret that I am a Conservative - but honestly - do Libs and some Cons actually believe that the government is holding citizen interests above their own interests? I have seen so many people attack/defend politicians on Y!A but it raises the question: Do you actually believe in these people?
  • Why do Liberals take some credit and deflect blame?
    Examples of taking credit:
    Ending Slavery (Lincoln was a Republican)
    Civil Rights Movement (MLK, the most important icon of the era, was a Progressive)
    Examples of deflecting blame:
    Criminalizing Illegal [Latino] Immigration (Labor Unions in the 1930s-1960s)
    Operation Fast and Furious ("Spun" for anti-gun sentiment when they knowingly gave a cartel guns - when it was actual a collosal failure on their part)
    Clinton... (Why did she keep the dress?)
    It seems like they are quick to take credit for anything good that happens in the world but when they miss the mark, they are quick to deflect all responsibility onto other people.
    I'll be the first to say that not every Conservative leader was had was great... but at least they took responsibility for the bullsh!t they started...
    Hoover
    Bush Jr./Sr.
