  • What is the difference between NYU and harvard?

    Is there really a huge difference between Harvard Uni. Business Major and NYU School of Stern business school? Wouldn't I be able to do the same stuff if I graduated from either except for "bragging rights?"

  • Would I be ready for ACT if i studied for the SAT?

    I am studying for my SAT exam which is on the 1st of December, and I have the opportunity to take the ACT on the 8th. Because I have my TOEFL exam on the 7th, I won't really have the chance to study specifically for the ACT. Would I do good on ACT if I scored 670 from each section in the SAT? Thanks!

  • Budgies question - Can a couple with eggs stay with other budgies?

    I have a couple of budgies who have around 6 eggs and are about to become parents again.

    I am wondering if they can stay completely together with no obstacles between them -the parents, the eggs, their 3 older chicks and a stranger couple- without any problems.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Where my neck and my back meets hurts?

    Everyone says my posture is(was 4 days ago) perfect, so that is not the cause.

    A few days ago I fell asleep because of intense fatigue and slept in a position as if I was looking downward. (my head on the arm place of the sofa and my body laying like normal)

    And I slept like that for 6 hours.

    When I woke up I had a terrible neck ache and I couldn't stand clear, it has been 3 days, now I can stand like before but it hurts a little to do it. I fear of getting neck humps. What can I do to avoid them and what can I do to heal, or should I just wait and wait for my body to cure itself?

  • Jewellery in a head computed tomography scan?

    I had a head CT (I read the dose as 0.825 but I don't really know, it said 0.825 on the machine, wikipedia says a head CT is 1.5) but the radiologist said I didn't have to remove my metal necklace. Will this necklace spread any radiation?

Money doesn't really matter so I can just take the procedure now and whenever my eyes change again but I want to know if there are any risks that can affect my health badly.

  • My kitten is in a huff with me and he is very aggressive?

    We have been fine for the last few hours with my kitten but the last 20 minutes has been a disaster. She tries to attack me, and my uncle told me to punish him by throwing him down from the chair/sofa and ignore him because it is his cat and he doesn't want the kitten to be aggressive. I was playing with the cat until it started biting me very seriously, making my arm and hand full of scratches and making me bleed. I got very angry, held her from her neck's back (the meat part where mother cats carry their kittens) and her butt with my other hand so it doesn't hurt for her, and shouted "NO" and threw her down the way she wouldn't get hurt. After that she ran away from me and after a few minutes I felt bad so I called for her. She came, I cuddled her and she let me pet her for a few moments. Now I sit on my computer chair to research something on the computer, and when I am on the computer she ALWAYS sits between the screen and the keyboard and she loves it. I tried to carry her up because it is very hard for her to get up here, and she started biting me very aggressively, making me bleed again. Then I held her the same way and threw her down again. She came back and kept biting me, so I threw her out of the room and closed my door.

    I feel bad about it, she is a kitten who wants to bite bite and bite but she HURTS humans this way so we can not let this happen and have to punish her. Right now she is in a huff with me and will run away from me the moment she sees my sight. I feel bad because I feel like I made her afraid of me and hurt her.

    Help please!

  • Did I solve this problem right?

    The question was:

    0<x<90, sinx = 4/5

    tanx/ √1+tan^2x = ?

    I solved it this way;

    tanx/ √1+tan^2x = tanx/√sec^2x => tanx/secx

    tanx/1/cosx.

    Then I added this ;

    tanx/1/cosx/sinx/sinx.

    tanx/1/cotx/sinx

    tanx/1 . sinx/cotx => tanx. 4/5/cotx => tanx.4.cotx/5

    which ended up:

    4.1 /5 = 4/5

    Is this right? And if this is right does this mean that tanx/secx = sinx ?
