FOund out today my dog has diabetes (type 1 I think). Vet (who doesnt really seem to know much about raw feeding or holistic care) wants to put her on a premade diet specifically for dogs with diabetes, however if it can be done Id prefer to keep her on a more natural diet of fresh raw meat organs and bone. 

While the supernatural can neither be proven or disproven, the same could be said for unicorns, vampires , griffins etc. So what makes you reject the idea that they are real (assuming you do) yet accept the supernatural as real?

I was using Bravecto chews, but after hearing of FDA warnings where some dogs have had problems after using the product, and reading the information leaflet which advises humans to wear gloves when handling the chews and pretty much states that the product should be used at the consumers own risk I am having second thoughts. Is there a safer option out there that is effective?

I feed my 8 yr old ***** a prey model raw diet with a fasting day once a week. I am considering doing the gorge and fast thing where you feed 2 meals in 1 session, and then have a fast day. Please no anti raw, or anti fasters I have done my research, made an informed decision, and am bored with all the ignorance/misniformation out there

1) Does this method have any benefits over simply fasting one day per week?

2)Do you need to carefully wean a PMR fed dog into this or can you just jump straight into it?

3) can you suggest any good websites for further info on this?

4) Is there anything I need to be careful of when starting this feeding method.?
