DirecTV improperly mounted the dish on our roof and caused leaking ever since....about 2 years. We discovered the damage only until celling water damage shows. We had to replace partial of the roof because the serious leaking. However, we did take some pictures as evidence. After filed the damage claim, DirecTV accepted our claim and promised to repay what we paid to repair the roof. We signed a paper stated that after accepting certain amount of payment, we will release them. They promised to send the payment with a check within two weeks. Now, it is fourth week, their claim department did not send the check as promised and do not accepting phone calls, do not return left phone messages. I checked and found out they have very bad records with dealing customers complains. We mailed all paper work with certified mail.

What we can do beyond this point? Anyone has the same or similar experience? The damage costs us about $2000.

I am paying my son's college tuition in 2011, total around $10K. My son also had a part time job with income about $3K in 2011. He will file his own income tax for 2011. Since I cannot claim him as my dependent, can I still deduct his tuition on my income tax return?

I had a roofing company came by checked out my roof and leakage. He asked me to sign a contract which stated that if he can help me to get my insurance company pay for the repair cost...I have to give the job to him. If not, there is no obligation on me. Sounds good to me. But, is there any trick in this kind of deal? I checked the BBB on this roofing company, they actually got an "A" rating.

Where the 94 Grand Caravan transmission relay located?

I ordered the part, and it comes with two identical skirted relays next to each other, however, I could not find the same relays pair under the hood. If anybody knows the exact location, please advise. Thanks in advance.

When cold engine, shifting is normal. Replaced input/output sensors but it does not help. Could it be a bad temperature sensor? But which one? Thanks in advance.

The a/c was doing fine several weeks ago, it suddenly quit. Instrument panel light is blinking, coolant charge seems fine. What could be a cause? Is there a electronic circuit to protect the compressor?

Remove transmission output sensor from a 94 Grand Caravan, I found some metal powder accumulated at the magnetic tip. Clean it up and reinstalled the sensor, I got the van drove normally for about half an hour. Then, gear shift rough again with some slippages. Is this meant I need to rebuild the transmission? Can I just replace torque converter, since when in gear, the van drove fine. Thanks!

My 94 Grand Caravan, check engine light on, code is 24...'throttle position sensor'. After replaced with a new one, the code kept coming back. Idle sometimes will be rough, like engine may stall. What could be the cause that triggers the code 24 beyond a bad 'throttle position sensor'? Thanks in advance for the advice and help.

While driving on highway, at 65 MPH speed, the OD seemed trying to engage, but immediately disengaged by watching the RPM drop from 3200 RPM to 2900RPM, then, immediately return to 3200 RPM again. Speed did not change, cruise was set at that speed. Suspect ECU is the fault, but, could it be something else? Transmission solenoid pack was changed while this problem started but, w/o help.

The engine code 24, replaced a brand new throttle control sensor, ran well for several days, then problem came back. Rocking throttle control sensor connector, engine idle will be up or down, sometime will just stall. Have a mechanics replaced transmission solenoid pack, did not solve the problem. Warm engine drive, can feel engine racing (4000 RPM) and transmission shifting delayed.

What could be wrong? mileage is around 198K...still original engine.

94 Dodge Grand Caravan, transmission down shift likes sledge hammer hit, what could be the cause? Up shift seems normal, in park, shift to reverse, observation with hood up, felt like the whole engine tried to rotate and heard a noise which did not occur before. Thanks in advance.

The proper way to replace a passenger side drive axial on 3.0 V6 94 Camry?

Engine is 3VZ-FE, there are 6 bolts connected drive axial to the half shaft, should I remove the whole drive shaft? If so, how to remove it. It seems difficult to just loosen the 6 bolts while the shaft is still on the car. Your expertise is highly appreciated.

94 Grand Caravan, serpentine belt keeps striped off one outer section? It is running with may be just 5 or 4 stripes still intact...but, every new belt ended up with the same situtation. Could it be misalignment somewhere? Double checked, the belt used is the correct one.

Our family van recently starts this problem. Replaced ignition coil, sparks plugs and compression test came out 155~165 for all 6 cylinders. So, what could be wrong?

A 2000 Buick Regal, after smooth run for a while, stalls, when tried to restart, it won't. If let it stay for a while, it will start and run normally again, but after a while, stalls again...the situation repeat again and again. When it is running, it will run for about 10 minutes...so, could it related to temperature of the engine? If so, what item could be the culprit. The fuel pump has been replaced, while listen to the fuel pump, something closes to fuel tank making 'click' sound, when the sound came, the idle will be rough...which ended up stall..and fuel pump stop also. Items has been replaced included EGR valve, IAC valve, PCV valve. Thanks for any advance and help.

Starts and stalls right away on 2000 Buick Regal. I owned this car for 5 years, this week, this problem started. When I start it, it will run normally the first time, then, if I shut off the engine and restart it, it will start and stall right away, cannot hold the idle at all. I have a normal office job and my wife owns a small business. This is the first year she got some income. What would be the best tax filing method? For my income portion, I file 'joint', which is the same or similar as previous years. What should my wife portion be filed? Should she files tax return with her own social security number (what she is using currently)? Any program can help to do this? Any advise will be highly appreciated. A 1999 Dodge Neon suddenly stalled. My neighbor has a 1999 Dodge Neon, one morning, she started it up and during the back out from her driveway the car stalled and would not start again. There are no spark from the plugs.The power pack is one year new, could that be ignition module? If so, where this ignition module located? Or, what would be the guideline to troubleshoot this problem?

Why a resurface job is necessary when it comes to replace head gasket? Would it be making sense that the engine block also needs to do the same? It seems like this resurface job only recommended on the cylinder head.
