I need to fix my computer to remove a virus protection. I forgot what button starts safe mode.

I had a lot of viruses on it. I had it wiped out everything but the pictures I had saved. Ever since I have started using the speakers it now says there is not any installed on the computer. How do I go about fixing my speakers. They are plugged in and the light works but its just saying that is wasn't installed. The first time I turned on the compter when I ordered it from dell I didn't have to install anything to get them to work. Thanks in advance?

I need to go in and set my date so if something happens to my computer I can go back to that date. How do you do this?

I downloaded a song onto my computer. My virus protection found a problem I did a scan and it corrected it. Now when I try to get onto the internet my icon doesn't work anymore. I go to start and to Internet Explorer and it doesn't work either. Its like the Interent isn't even on my computer anymore. Add or remove programs doesn't she internet explorer either. I have tried to search for browsers i explorer and everything. How am I suppose to get the internet back?

I was thinking it had to be saved on there somewhere still?

Everyone told me to rebot computer and go into Safe Mode with network but when I do the screen does nothing once I click in the screen is black and says safe mode but I can't get onto the internet or anything to download what is needed.....what now?
