What are your thoughts on the future of Gintama. Since the series has officially ended without any announcement of a continuation do you think it's really over or will they just put it on hiatus until the manga gets further ahead. This was one of the best comedy/parody animes running.

What did you think of the first episode? I was expecting something like Love GetChu or REC. Boy was I wrong.

Doesn't it seem that in many anime the mother is portrayed as pretty much oblivious to what's happening. I'll give an example. In Konjiki no Gash Bell, Takamine and Gash are always returning home beaten up but Takamine's mother doesn't seem to notice or at least doesn't comment. Another example is in Kyo Kara Maoh!, Yuri 's mother doesn't seem to mind that he, his best friend and his older brother are disappearing down the bathtub for weeks on end. Don't you find this odd? I'm sure you can find your own examples as well.

Does anyone know the seiyū for Endou from Inazuma Eleven. I think its Tanaka Mayumi (Monkey D Luffy's seiyū) but just wanted to confirm. If it isn't they sound exactly the same.

By this time most of the true anime fans will have seen the first episode from most of the new crop of animes for spring 2008.

The question is: which one was your favorite?

There are a great many good ones but my answer right now would have to be Kamen no Maid Guy (brilliant) followed by Wagaya no Oinari-sama.

Has anyone heard whether a fansub group will pick up Moonlight Mile -Touch Down (second season of Moonlight Mile). I've notices the first 7 episodes are out in raw.

With the nuclear reactor leaking into the sea after the latest earthquake in Japan, how soon will it be before Godzilla shows up? Would it be a good idea to cancel my planned trip to Tokyo?

Has anyone seen or heard of english fansubed versions of Gunparade Orchestra ep. 14-24. Not the jellysub versions.

I believe that the courts should stay out of a person's choice to take their own life. Especially in cases where untreatable pain is involved. This assumes a person is sane and can make informed decisions. Please leave your cassocks at the door for this one. I intend this from an ethical standpoint not a religious one.
