  • Is there a game besides Spyro where you can play as a dragon?

Because I would love to be able to play as a dragon who didn't look like a children's character.

  • How did ancient Romans name their kids?

I've been watching HBO's Rome and I know they'd tend to give their kids the same name, but how would you differentiate between two kids of the same sex? Like, Atia's kids were Octavia and Octavian, but what if there were two girls or two boys?

  • What is this Polish phrase?

I work in an environment with some Polish speaking people and every once in a while I hear them mutter under their breath what sounds like "hi chooch". I'm pretty sure it's spelled czuc, but I can't figure out the first word.

  • Looking for specific tardis crochet pattern?

I would like to make a storage box in the shape of a tardis. I've found patterns for little tardis plushies, but I can't figure out how to make one larger (maybe a foot or a little more in height) with an opening top. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • Movies like ahs: Coven or Beautiful Creatures?

I've always liked the idea of a story about witches and an older witch mentor. I'm trying to find movies that are similar to American Horror Story: Coven and Beautiful Creatures. Like, a cross between the two kind of. I've already seen Halloween Town series, so that doesn't count lol.

  • why can't christians be more welcoming at christmas time?

A lot of Christians get really upset about non-Christians participating in traditions that are pagan in origin. What's with the invade and conquer attitude? Pagans are willing to share the traditions. And then you have the group of people who think atheists are out to destroy Christmas. When it comes down to it, they don't care if you celebrate the birth of Christ. Can't Christians at least respect everyone else's right to take part or not take part in the holiday of their choice?

  • What can you tell me about new york city in 1944?

I'm trying to write a story that takes place in 1944 and the two main antagonists are wealthy women living together. Basically, I'm trying to figure out if this is realistic. I know almost nothing about the 1940's at this point, since I'm just in the beginning stages, so anything would be helpful.

Also, it's a murder not-so-mystery story, the two women being the killers.

  • What does Amkhet mean?

I hear it's a city in Egypt and I'm assuming that this is an English variant of the word. From what I've been able to gather (which isn't much) it means roughly "place of peace". But I could be completely wrong.

  • Any studies on naturopathy as a whole?

According to the American Cancer Society, "scientific evidence does not support claims that naturopathic medicine can cure cancer or any other disease, since virtually no studies on naturopathy as a whole have been published". Is this true? Because if this is true, I will gladly accept the challange. I will dedicate my life to it. (Study naturopathy that in depth, I mean)

  • Can anyone help me find femslash?

I've been looking for movies (or books or tv shows) that I can femslash. Does anyone have any ideas? My favorite pairings are between women of significant age difference, like Hermione/Bellatrix or Narcissa and MirAndy from Devil Wears Prada. But I do also like Xena/Gabrielle and Scarlett/Melanie even though that's really not an age difference.

P.S. Don't even bother suggesting Rizzoli and Isles. Hate it lol

  • Does red hair mat (or dreadlock) more eaily than other white people's hair?

The reason I'm asking is because I keep reading that black people's hair mats (or becomes dreadlocked) naturally while white people's hair cannot do this naturally. But when I was 14 I had to cut off a good portion of my hair because I had stopped washing it and brushing it and the underside had formed some nasty, uneaven dreadlocks and I couldn't brush it out. My hair is a pretty dark, but bright red. I wondered if that had anything to do with it, because I heard that some pharohs often had red hair and dreadlocks.

  • What movie starts off with a building being demolished?

I remember being little (in the early 90's) and I started to watch a movie that begins with a brick building being demolished with one of those swinging balls.

  • Atheists, what do you think about a God CONCEPT as opposed to a deity?

I don't know how to classify myself (atheist or agnostic), but I know I'm not a theist. (And I don't think it's entirely necessary for me to classify myself as one of these, so I won't). What do you think about the idea that God is all things in existance as a whole rather than an actual deity which is sepparate from us. Or do you just dismiss the idea that we are all connected in some way. I was just wondering, because I know you use science to understand the way things work and there are branches of science which demonstrate how we are all basically one.

  • Lesbian fiction books about older women and younger women?

I'm looking for regular fiction books (not erotica in other words) about romance between an older woman and a younger woman. I looked on amazon, but if I specifically mention older and younger women, it will only give me erotica. And if I just put in lesbian fiction, ect. the list is way too long for me to search through to find specifically what I'm looking for.

Don't just tell me to GOOGLE it, please. I asked this before and only got one answer telling me to Google it. I was like "If google would give me what I'm looking for, I wouldn't be on HERE asking for it, silly".

I'm a lesbian, I'm 23 and a teleiophile (someone who has an erotic attraction to some one significantly older, but not necessarily the elderly). Is there any hope for me? Or am I just screwed until I reach 35 lol?

  • Is there a word for this? (lesbians)?

Is there a word that describes a relationship between and older woman and a younger woman?
