2 years ago my central heat/air system went dead. hired someone who came and replaced ignitor. which had a small crack. 2 days ago system went out again. this time unit continues to blow but cold air only. when checking the system i notice the ignitor is not even turning on or getting hot. i un screwed and did not see any cracks. is there any way of checking????? can ignitors blow out?

i have a 2005 bmw, stick shift.

car is not accelerating as normal. no acceleration in 5th gear

any ideas?

This weekend my car over heated and i blew the radiator out pretty bad. i had that replaced yesterday (new radiator installed). car still overheated, thought it may be the thermostat, but i checked and my fans are not working. was able to get home because there was no traffic and the air from outside kept the engine cool (thank god). i was thinking that maybe the fan fuse blew??? does anyone know which fuse is for the fan on a 99 cougar? and if not the fuse what this may be that caused the fans to stop working?

was told by three different people three different answers?

was searching on line for parts, but when looking at the description i see front passenger and back converter? are there two that's needed for this car? and universal converters are opinions on those?

Trying to buy my own parts for tune up when taking it to the mechanic (i think he is over charging me for the parts). i want to walk in with my own parts and just pay for the labor. What all do i need for a tune up? how many spark plugs for my vehicle etc...?

4years ago i register a car in new jersey. i sold that car about a few months later. title was changed into new owners name. thing is i never turned in the plates (was moving and never got a chance, lost them since) buying another car this week. will i have any problems registering a new car? renewed my license last summer and never received a bill or anything from nj dmv?

looking to buy a used car, besides car fax is there anyway to tell the status of a car before buying. will the title have salvage stamped on it? will the title have a date? etc..

i just received noticed from my job that i am being garnished from a law firm that apparently took over a credit card acct i had. thing is i never received a bill or even knew i had such a case, which they won, against me? i called them up and they had my mothers address which i haven't lived at since i was 18yrs old. i spoke with someone there and told them this and told them that i submitted change of address slips at the post office every time i moved which was only twice. she told me that they had the wrong address (still even today) but there was nothing they can do being that judgment was passed! they are garnishing 10% of my pay before taxes which will kill me. any suggestions?
