Last night I was talking to a friend when he gave me a phone number of a friend of his. He said it was from a girl who would like to know me because we share something in common. I have not met the girl yet but want to introduce myself to her by phone. Though I do plan to telling her that my friend gave me her number I don't know what else to say other than that we may meet sometime soon. I know I'm not suppose to act creepy on the phone but both of us are a bit shy when meeting new people - especially on the phone.

Do you have any tips on how I should talk when I make a call other than introducing myself? I want to make our phone conversation go well in the hopes that we would build a good friendship.

One time I tried to download Sony Vegas Pro for free but it turned out to be a trial version and didn't turn out the way I wanted it to be: free and easy to use.

So right now I'm looking for some good alternatives to Sony Vegas but with exactly the same tools and features. One example: I want to superimpose photos and videos over another and alter it many ways such as rotating it. I already use Windows Movie Maker (both WMM and Windows Live) but I want to download something like Sony Vegas but as freeware and not another trial version. And I can't afford to pay the costs of purchasing/using Sony Vegas.

I was looking for a Polish pop song that I liked when I first heard it on YouTube not so long ago before it was removed. I liked it a lot. I wanted to hear it again but this time I want it downloaded as a file that I can listen to repeatedly. So I then looked for websites but all of them come up with results that were either dead or require payment. I now feel it's so hard to find the song now. Now I want better sites - new ones - that I would like to go to where I thought I could find the song free of charge. And it doesn't matter if the texts there are either in English or Polish; it's only the site quality that matters to me where I could be satisfied with the search results if every song was listed.

I've been recently annoyed by the freezing noises on my computer several times so I was looking for ways how to end them. Then I downloaded CCleaner to clean up my Internet history which I thought was the source of the problem. Everything went back to normal as I freely visited sites and kept on deleting history after each visit. But last night as I was watching a video the PC froze again even though I didn't open any tabs or windows, and today I had to restart it before opening a new session.

How is that my computer froze when I already downloaded CCleaner? If CCleaner is not enough to prevent such problems, what else do I have to do? I already have anti-virus software installed in my PC and I don't think I should download more programs like that.

I wonder if reinstalling the same version of Mozilla Firefox - the most recent is 4.0.1 - could affect what I had downloaded before or its Internet performance. What happens if I do?

My laptop keyboard does work everywhere both in and out of the Internet but on one site that I visit often it's not hitting any keys at the moment. I tried to hit the "Enter" key but it never worked, nor it does with any letter or number. Do you know what is going on with the keyboard and are there any ways for me to fix that problem?

Every time I get an update on Mozilla Firefox I always download the latest version. The most recent is 4.0.1, which I'm having a problem on it. I tried to get it fully downloaded but it takes a very long time to complete the process and I never finish it. It has to connect to the server and I thought it already has. So I pressed the "Hide" button and it appeared that the download was incomplete.

Usually it took quickly for the earliest versions of Firefox to download, but the time for the new one to complete its process feels longer for me. Why does it take a long time for the new Mozilla Firefox to download. Is there anything I could do to make it more faster?

I would like to watch movies in the Czech language with English subtitles. What are the best recommendations you can give me? Anything goes for all genres, but I would like to see something historic and set in the old Czechoslovakia.

I recently joined the site Jhoos.com and had a lot of problems at the start.

First, a friend of mine sent me a friend request to join the social networking website Jhoos.com so I clicked on to accept it. But when I got there all I was taken to are surveys that I don't want to fill in and never found the actual profile. I e-mailed my friend about the problem only to find out that it either never worked or was a fake.

Second, I wanted to join the site and I was required to download the Jhoos toolbar, but I already downloaded one and don't want to go all over that again. I'm thinking about removing the toolbar.

Finally, I'm confused by which site I'm supposed to go to. There is one site http://network.jhoos.com/ and the other http://www.jhoos.com/ I don't even know which one to go to. I tried out the first site and had to pay for membership for everything including viewing users' profiles which I don't want to do since I first thought it was for free. The second site troubles me a lot since there is no place for a user log in.

Are those Jhoos.com sites for real, or are they fake? I would prefer to go to social networking sites that are free, easy to use, and NOT FAKE.

Every time I log out I was going to turn off the computer and given three choices: stand by, turn off, or restart. I sometimes put it to a low power state so I could quickly resume my windows session. But recently the computer shut down itself even though it was set to low power...and then I turned it on again for a new session. Why did it do that? I thought that I could easily return to my earlier session without turning my PC off.

My friend canceled all of his online accounts and I have no idea what led to his disappearance. His website accounts, that is. I don't think his e-mail accounts were those included, because I messaged to him soon after that happened although I believe he is still alright. The last thing I talked with him was last week and he said he was cleaning house. But the day after the conversation he was gone. I fear that there might be something suspicious behind the cancellations.

Why would my friend cancel all of his online accounts? Why would he disappear from sight like that?

My parents set their own rules regarding friends. They believe that only friends stay together if they have a lot in common and don't argue, which I do agree. Friends should never take advantage of each other, and I think they meant the manipulating which I really don't want. There are some things that they do believe in which I don't agree on, however. They believe the only time for a boy and girl to fall in love is during high school and nothing else. And since I never went out with anyone back then they want me to marry someone from my mother land someday.

I've been very introverted all my life. I was well acquainted with a lot of people who respected me for my abilities but I only went out with few of them. I happen to have a different taste of women than my parents do, which are those from my hometown, and I would rather stay single than get stuck in a marriage I don't want for the rest of my life if their preferences don't really appeal to me. And I know there are other times and places for me to find love and not just at high school. I really do want to meet more new friends, and I would pretty much have friends on two sides of the world and not just one because I want to embrace both of them. Although I'm using Facebook to make new friendships (mostly with relatives who might introduce me friends I never met), I fear neither of my parents would ever approve of online dating nor they ever believe it was either ever going to work. Not only I want better friends than eve before, I also want to open my mind to the whole world, and I want to see more of it.

Are there any ways to get my parents approve of my ways of gaining friends and my taste of women?

I've been given his e-mail address by a friend I met recently and wanted to add him on Facebook. The problem is I couldn't find him. I don't know his last name and couldn't find him on search. Are there any ways for me to expand his search?

My friends have wall photo albums and I would like to make one but don't know how. I know wall photos have to do with posts on the Facebook wall and there's no way for me to transfer them into an album.

I was so upset that my friend forgot to wish me a happy birthday even though she remembered what day it was on. I don't know what to do but I'm afraid she might forget again. Are there any things either or both of us could do so that she'll make it up to me on remembering my birthday by giving me a wish for next year? Maybe being more communicative with that person would do, but I'm not sure if that's gonna work.

I recently e-mailed photos to a friend but she told me they never came. How could this happen? All I did was type in the correct e-mail address as it was written when I was given that, but could there be any other causes?

I'm gonna download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (10.1) but I read that I have to temporarily disable the anti-virus software in order for the installation to continue. Maybe when I tried to download Flash it didn't work because the anti-virus was still running. So I want to know if disabling the anti-virus would work if I'm gonna let the Flash installation work properly. How am I gonna do that if I don't know how to tell from one type of anti-virus software?

Sometimes when I turn on the PC a window pops up and says that I have to install the latest Adobe Flash Player. I've done that a few times already but the problem is Mozilla Firefox has to be closed, and I'm not sure if it meant closing the window or removing the program. I can't even download the software fully, so I kept the older version but by doing that I let crashes happen more often on the videos that I play. And that's why I need the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.

I know I haven't been doing things right but how can I install the latest Adobe Flash Player correctly?

I would like to write fan mail to a celebrity, maybe get advice on writing a movie script or anything helpful that I would ask them. But would I ever receive a response?

I want to change my name on Facebook but I still want to keep my real name in parentheses. How do I do that?
