  • Should I send two different legal papers for certificate of service separate?

I am a pro se defendant in a debt lawsuit and I am filing both my answer to the complaint and appearance form today. I must also send copies to the plaintiff's lawyer, CMRRR. Should I send each in a separate envelope, or can I combine them both in the same envelope?

  • Why was O.K. Corral gunfight so famous?

Just interested in opinions on the anniversary of the shooting...

Why this gunfight? Surely there were many other gunfights in US western history. What made this one so special?

  • Can I offer incentives for people to donate to a charitable cause?

I will be doing a walk for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in October and I am currently seeking donations. Is it legal to say something like, "Everyone who donates this month will be entered into a drawing for a $20 Visa gift card"?

I'm looking for different ways to try to reach my contribution goal and I was thinking the possibility of free money might help people consider donating.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

  • Divorced Parents, Form 8332 and EIC?

My ex husband is the custodial parent of our children. If he signs the 8332 form allowing me to claim our children as dependants this year, can he still qualify for the Earned Income Credit for those children or does he lose that right?

I know that I can't get the EIC since I am the non-custodial parent, but I'm hoping he would still be able to.

  • 2005 Chevy Uplander: DVD and radio at the same time?

Does anyone know how we can listen to the radio while the kids listen to the movie playing in the DVD through cordless headphones? The headphones came with the van, but we can't find instructions on how to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

  • 2002 Pontiac Grand Am - multiple misfire?

I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am that recently started idling really rough and I lost about 4-5 MPG in the last two months. The last two days (really cold days) I would warm it up for about 20 - 30 minutes before driving, going about 10-15 miles and it would stall on me as I came to a stop. I took it in to a mechanic today and they changed out the plugs and were convinced it was the ignition module. It turns out it wasn't the module, but they are clueless as to what it could be, they just know the computer diagnostic came up as "multiple misfires" but don't know why. Does anyone here have any clue? More info can be given if needed. Thanks in advance.

  • I need a different way to prepare potatoes?

I need some quick answers. I'll be starting dinner in about an hour. We're having pork chops and I would like some different ideas to prepare potatoes other than the same old mashed potatoes I normally cook. Any ideas?

  • A good home party company to sell for?

I currently work two jobs - one full time and one part time in the evenings. I enjoy my jobs, but it doesn't leave much time to spend with my kids. I currently bring home about $130/wk at my part time and would like to make about that amount but by only having no more than three parties a week. I was wondering what would be a good company to work for as far as commissions go, market appeal to young and old and a public interest that isn't going to fizzle out in about a month. I have looked into both At Home America and Vantel Pearls...any other suggestions?
