1 AnswerRock and Pop8 years agoWhy do my cordless power drills stop working?
Had a Makita, then a Skil and both of them stopped holding a strong charge in the battery pack. I got rid of the Makita because the company said it was no good and bought the Skil. Now am having the same problem. I don't use them much, but neither does my husband and his Black & Decker holds a charge between (infrequent uses). What is going on?
5 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)8 years agoHow do I get a fresh smell into my house w/o always having to open windows?
My house always smells like the food I cooked the night before. Do I need a whole house fan; in kitchen in attic, where? It takes at least a day to go away. I'm always opening windows all year long to get the smell out. And I don't even cook smelly food (onions, garlic). Any ideas? Obviously the airflow is not good in the house; are there people out there who can tell me where best to place a fan according to airflow studies?
5 AnswersOther - Home & Garden8 years agoNeed suggestions for a thank you gift to send overseas?
My husband and I recently visited my mom's cousin and his wife in England and were treated to lunch and a museum visit as well as a tour around their town. We did not stay overnight. What should I send them as a thank you gift that won't cost too much in shipping costs?

My TV is about 7 years old and DVD player a little older. When I hook them all up according to directions I can't view the DVD, but it is advancing on the counter. Do I need a special cord or cable?
1 AnswerTVs9 years agoWhat is the best small rechargeable drill?
Want to buy a small rechargeable type drill. Most drills are too heavy for me as a woman. Have had 2 in recent years (Makita & Skil) that are always "dead" when I go to use them (approx. once per month) so I have to wait til theyt charge up again. I realize lack of use causes this, but my husband's never does this (Black & Decker).
