Has anyone ever used Island Breeze Travel Agency to book a trip to Playa Del Carmen?
They are offering a killer deal due to the 90 minute timeshare presentation that you have to sit through. Just wondering if anyone knows if it's legit or not. Thanks!

1 AnswerCancun1 decade agoIs there a repair service I can call besides Sears to fix my Kenmore washer?
I hate the Sears repair center. Every time I call to schedule a repair, I choose the morning slot, between 8am-12pm. Last time, the repair guy didn't show up until 4pm. Today, they are 2 hrs late and still no estimated time of arrival. I'm wondering if there are other repair companies that can work on Kenmore products so I don't have to deal with Sears anymore?
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHas anyone ever tried tattoo paper for inkjets?
I was just reading online that you can buy a special paper to print out your own temporary tattoos. I'm wondering if anyone has ever used them and how well they work. Also wondering if the ink from the printer would be safe on skin...
(I'm looking into this for a kids' party favor, by the way, so it doesn't need to look great, just want a safe product)
2 AnswersTattoos1 decade agoHow do I draw dots inside text (type) in Adobe Illustrator?
I'm really new to Illustrator but am familiar with Photoshop but it doesn't seem to help! I've already converted the type into outlines but just want to put dots inside the actual type. I tried using the paintbrush to draw the dots but it's inevitable that the dots overlap outside of the type. I don't know how to erase the parts of the dots that extend past the border. Any help would be appreciated!
1 AnswerProgramming & Design1 decade agoWhat's your favorite all-inclusive resort in Cancun for families with little kids?
We're going to Cancun with a 1 and 4-yr old and are looking for an all-inclusive resort that is also kid friendly. (please don't try to talk me out of going to Cancun, it's a trip planned with another family and also just want to relax and not worry too much about sight-seeing - that will come later when we don't have a fussy baby!) Thanks!!

5 AnswersCancun1 decade agoHow do I get my 1 yr old to sleep later and nap longer?
My almost 1 yr old has recently started waking up around 5am every day! She used to wake up around 6:15 but the last 2 weeks it has been as early as 4:45am. She also naps very little - two 1/2 hour naps a day. Due to the short naps, she is falling apart by dinner time and has to go to bed by 7pm. I've tried to put her to bed earlier (I've heard sleep begets sleep..) and I've also tried pushing her bedtime later, but that's hard because she gets so little sleep during the day. I feel like I'm stuck in the endless cycle of early to bed and way too early to rise. I think she may be teething but every time she has teethed, it hasn't interferred with her sleep cycle.
Other than the early wake ups and short naps, she is a happy baby and also sleeps through the night. I'm just wondering if this is something I better get used to, or if anyone has ideas on how I can get her to sleep more?
8 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade ago3 1/2 yr old is potty trained but possibly has diaper rash?
My 3 1/2 yr old has never had diaper rash in her life, but recently, I've noticed these little pimple-looking bumps around her anus that I'm guessing is what diaper rash looks like? Nothing has changed, laundry detergent same, no fabric softener used....she's been potty trained for almost a year so hasn't even worn a diaper for a long time. She did say that they hurt a little sometimes. I'll call the Pediatrician first thing Monday but just wondering if people have seen this before?
7 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoHow to install torx screw in my Land Rover Discovery sun roof?
My husband is having trouble putting a cap and torx screw on his sun roof - it's part of 4 caps that mount the glass to the rail. He has tried using a socket wrench with a 1/4" socket and a torx t20 bit adapter to get the screw in but there doesn't seem to be enough clearance to get the tool in there. Does anyone know if there's a special tool needed or any tricks to get this to work? Thanks!
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoAbsent dad is now absent grandfather...?
Long story!
We immigrated to the U.S. when I was 7. My dad stayed behind to "finish up" his business. He never did and is still there. When we were small, he'd come visit every month or so, with the frequency getting less and less as we grew older. My mom found out the reason why he never came to join us was because he basically has been cheating on her with all sorts of women. For some reason, he doesn't want a divorce, so my mom is stuck. That's an entirely different issue. My issue is this:
My contact with my dad has dwindled down to maybe 1 email a year, at either a birthday or Christmas. I now have 2 little kids who have never met their Grandpa. I'm not really hurt about the fact that he doesn't communicate with me, but each time I think about how he has never met my kids, makes me really angry. My guess is that he has another family where he lives and has pretty much cut us off from him. He denies it. What do u think? Should I try to get him to meet my kids?
6 AnswersFamily1 decade agoHas anyone been able to fit 3 car seats or boosters into a Toyota Prius?
I have a 2005 Prius and was wondering if I can fit 2 booster seats and an infant or convertable seat into the back of the car? Has anyone been able to do this and what types of car seats did you use? Thanks!!
9 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoSmall painful bump under my ankle, maybe from new shoes?
I've just developed this small painful bump under my right ankle and have a feeling that it's from a newer pair of shoes I've been wearing, for about 6 months. I can see the bump, it's a bit smaller than an eraser head, and it's painful to touch and can't tell if it moves or not. I wonder if it's a cyst from the shoe rubbing the skin, or something else.
Has anyone had this happen and what did you do for it? At the least, I'm avoiding the shoes in question. Don't want to go to the doc if I don't have to! Thanks!!
2 AnswersInjuries1 decade agoHow do I get my Canon MP530 driver to install correctly after one bad install?
I'm running Windows XP Pro and I may have screwed up the driver installation by having the printer on at the time (oops, I know) and ever since then, even after uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it exactly like the manual says, the driver will not communicate with the printer. I've tried everything and think the problem lies with Windows not creating the virtual USB printer port when the driver was installed. It seems that my other computers that have successfully installed the drivers have that port. Is there a way to create it manually? or somehow wipe out every thing this Canon driver has hidden in my harddrive to start out fresh again? (I hear that this is nearly impossible) I know the Canon software and printer are functioning properly because I have another computer hooked up to it that works.
Thanks for any input!
