I felt like I was on Fight Club. She says, "You are not your thoughts, memories, or dreams. You are not your mind." Does this seems reasonable? Would you believe it if your psychologist said such a thing? If you're not your mind...what the heck are you?

My doctor recommended this book to me. I've had a hard time with the first few chapters (you are not what your mind, etc.) So now I wondered if anyone else thought this book was useful. Or does it seem like a load of dr*k to other people also?
