I have a Bachelors Degree and I am currently a security officer. So right now I have the option to move up to be a Security Supervisor, or I can join the Army as a Specialist (E4 rank), or pay for my own police academy next year. Which do you think I should do in order to become a police officer? Keep in mind that putting oneself through the police academy is like going to college, just because you pay for the academy does not mean you will land a job, and there are police jobs that will pay for your academy if they like you enough.

Which cities should I see if I only have a week to travel?

I'm thinking Boston, Atlantic City, Chicago, New Orleans, Denver, Austin/Houston Texas, and Seattle.

I am from California, and I am a single 25 year old guy who just wants to travel, adventure, have some fun, and make incredible memories. I like trying new things, new restaurants, foods, events, nightclubs, bars, lounges, casinos, strip clubs etc lol... Which would you recommend for a guy like me? If I only want to spend about 7 days on the total trip, which should I prioritize or which should I maybe cancel out for this trip?

Enlisted or officer? do they get their own rooms in the marines? I hear in the army and air force they get their own rooms.

If I want to see Texas, Hawaii, Denver, Asia, South America, Canada, Europe, which branch is most likely to send me there?

So to be totally honest I do not feel like I have accomplished things to my full potential in the civilian world and it could just be that I do not belong or am not happy here. I have always had a military mindset in some aspects; I am interested in tactical ops, martial arts, firearms, discipline, leadership and bravery.

I graduated from a 4 year university in 2010, and am considering making a big move by joining the military (this is not the first time thinking of it), but would like to aim high and try for Officer school.

Which branches however, may give me a chance with a GPA of 2.6?

Also, if I go enlisted, will I promote faster with my degree? which branch would suit someone like me the most? I do prefer being surrounded by mature folks, wish to secure my future financially as well and make the most money I can while being accomplished and proud. I also would like a branch that is family oriented or at least more accepting of spending time with family.

Finally, it is also a bit tough for me to choose what specialty I would prefer to pursue. I imagine I would like to go all out and do infantry and stack my badges and achievements as much as possible, but is that practical for the long run?

So I have gotten addicted to traveling and exploring new places, and I am from the San Francisco area of California. I am thinking about making a trip somewhere just for a weekend so I don't have to request time off. I recently went to LA, did Long Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Santa Monica.

I am thinking Seattle, Reno, or Tahoe. Also, which of these places might be the most fun alone and has the most nightlife. I might even travel by myself since all my friends may be busy.

Local law enforcement officers in California make usually at least 60,000 a year starting, while the Border Patrol only make 35,000 a year starting off, and it is a tough job.
