Everywhere I try so far both packages and hotel only they want payment in full at booking! This has thrown a big monkey wrench into my plans. I need to book now but I can't afford to pay in full up front! I was thinking I could put money down and then make payments during the year. Anybody know if there is a site which allows that?

I want to buy a box of cigars as a gift. But even though I'm from Tampa I don't know much about them. Can someone tell me how far in advance can I purchase them? Do they age well like some wines or should I wait till the last minute and deliver them fresh?

So I was chatting in a facebook group and my friends started using icons like arrows, a sharks head, musical notes, etc that are not on the keyboard. I asked how are you doing that? and they said hold down Alt and press numbers (like alt13 is a single note for instance). However it is not working for me. Alt plus any numbers results in nothing on the screen and in fact when I hit the #1 it jumps me to another tab. Any ideas whats wrong? Do I need to buy a fancier keyboard or does it have more to do with the computer? I have linnux sabayon /using firefox on a compaq desk top. (The keyboard is a cheap Logitech K120)

Dumb question for the day please. Can a printer be connected to any lap top or just some models or none at all? I'm shopping online for one and the ads don't make it easy. I don't see anywhere they come right out and say "can or can't be used with a printer." However I have seen # of USB ports - Is that how to tell? I'm at a loss! :/

Does anyone know how much (ballpark) it costs to purchase everything one needs to set up a solar panel system? It would be a smaller system just to heat water in the house. How much just for the equipment, I would do the labor myself. Thanks!

I didn't know until a few years ago when I was watching a biography on TV that Shirley almost did the wiz. If she had, would it have been better or worse than Judy Garland in your opinion?

(Myself I'm torn. I always loved Shirley but I wonder if she may have been a little "too sweet." Judy brought a bit of an edge to the role.

I like crewel embroidery but it isn't as popular as it used to be. What kind of crafts do you like to do?

What kind of odd ball stuff do you collect? I have plastic hangers of all colors and my clothes are all on hangers that match their colors. Strange, I know. I didn't start out to accomplish this, it just kind of happened over time. Do you have an odd and unique collection of some sort?

Or is it only certain varieties of maple tree that are used for syrup making?

It seems to me that with peppers like jalapenos and chili being all the rage to cook with lately, the old table stand by ground black is just sooo yesterday. Do you think it's popularity is waning or will it be around for ever?

I generally just get some kind of "oops your system does not meet requirements" message. I have linnux mint and firefox and I mostly can do everything online I used to do with windows including watching video. I don't know why I can't seem to get into these games. Any ideas?

Please keep it simple for someone who basically knows how to add,subtract,multiply and divide and that's it. Thanks in advance

I'm in Florida and we have mobile home parks everywhere, but I always thought this was a "southern thing." I thought it would be too cold in the northernmost states to live that way, but I recently heard something about someone who lives in a trailer in Washington state. I'm just curious how people keep from freezing in trailers in the far north during the really bad cold spells?

When I'm online looking at my checking account I often just go offline and shut my computer down w/o logging off from the bank site first. It occurred to me this may not be a good thing. Is there any reason I should log off the site first or does going offline accomplish the same thing? (we are talking about at home and no chance of any one else actually using the same computer)

A single wide moving a few miles from one trailer park to another. Also do they generally include hooking you up to elec and water at the new location or is that separate? (I've never lived in a trailer before, any other general advice you can give?) By the way it's the Tampa bay area.
