Why, for example, do they say "disoriented" when they mean "disorientated"? (It's based on the word "orientate" not "orient", which refers to, surprise, the Oriental countries, the Far East. (or, perhaps in America, it's the Middle West?!!)

I tried posting this in response to "Royal Mail Scam" querie

...But we've been ripped off by the "Royal Mail" (nothing very regal about it, these days...) for many a year. They lose over a million letters per week and, to make sure it arrives, they charge you more than double the postage for "Special" delivery.

At risk of sounding like an ancient buffer, there was a time when postal deliveries went on until 9 or 10 at night... and few letters were lost.

Typical of ROUK (Rip-off-UK) the prices increase to a phenomenal extent - to pay the shareholders - and the service diminishes to virtually nothing - to save costs, in order to pay shareholders more...

It all started with that bloke Thatcher, the thinking man's Welsh carrot, when she and her cronies decided they were going to sell off OUR BIRTHRIGHT (Gas, Electricity, Water supplies; railways; bus services; telephones etc.) to the highest bidder. I find medics' diets tasteless and boring. I am diabetic and hypertensive and need to lose tons... well several pounds. Any ideas to help me, please?
