I have been renting a brand new home for about 6 mos .. well my husband and I got in a fight and i threw some plates on the linolium floor and it caused the floor to rip in some areas .. i was wondering if there was any way to repair this or do i need to replace the whole floor?

I work at a foster care agency .. which is already depressing enough.. but My cubicle is next to this guy who is a social worker and is constantly complaining .. he is so negative and he has a smart remark for everything . he is constantly looking over my shoulder and talking crap about our boss because she is mean to him this guy is like 45 yrs old what can I do to try and keep a positive outlook during the day .. his negativity is draining I feel so much better when he is not here.

I am at work and this just happened.it happens all the time.. why do people call and ask you for a phone number and then say .. hold on let me get a pen... DUH wasn't the purpose of the call necessary to have a pen handy ...

have you ever caught your spouse male or female doing the deed on there own after you just did it with them?? and if you did would you be mad? or hurt? mostly a ? for the guys... and ladies if you have done this what was your husband/boyfriends reaction?

My nephew just turned 15 yrs. old he was living with my brother in law (his dad ) and my evil sis in law who kicked him out of the house about 2 yrs ago since then he has been bouncing between his mom who only wants him there when she needs child support and my mother in law who is never home she stays out with my father in law gambling until 11 every week night .. neways he ended up moving back with dad about 3 weeks ago because he was starting to hang around gangs and act out . it has been hell for him these past three weeks the step mom makes it very clear she hates him he sleeps downstairs in a coat closet because she says he needs to earn a bed which is crap. well last night i got home and she kicked him out again saying she was going to divorce my brother in law if he let him stay .. so now he is going back to grandma's i am really worried he is a good kid he likes school and he has a good heart .. what should i tell him to make him feel like he is not a piece of crap .

my daughter is 7 almost 8 yrs old she has what to me seems like panick attacks like for example school started yesterday she is returning to the same school but going into 2nd grade she was fine until we started getting closer then she started crying said her tummy hurt and i am not the kind of mom that freaks out and self diagnoses my children but she does this often like when we get on an elevator she will grab my arm and say are we going to get stuck i don't want to get on ..the thing that maybe think there was a problem was lately everynight when i go to bed she walks down stairs and checks all the locks in the house to make sure they are locked and she checks the burners on the stove .. she is not exposed to any kind of traumatizing tv shows at my house that would make her paranoid. I have 6 other kids and she is the only one that is so paranoid and scared of everything i took her to a therapist and she said she just wants attention but i am starting to think it's something more .

which is better to help lose weight treadmill or stationary bike? and how long 30 min or longer ?? and also i had twins are crunches effective to lose the skin or is there another excersise

I have a friend who constantly obsesses about a guy that she used to be with in high school they had a son together and then he left her he didn't contact her until 8 yrs later and she decided to give him another chance and they had another child and she ended up leaving him again he has a really bad drug problem and she is so together in every way except when it comes to him he is like her weakness and i am really concerned bcause she is married now to a really great guy and she as been trying to find her ex she says just to make sure he is ok .. but if her husband found out he would leave and i know that's not what she wants i have tried to tell her to get over him but she tells me she can't that she loves hm and she feels it's unfairthat she can't be with him because she knows he is bad for her ? any advice???

i was just recently cussed out by an immigrant because i am a mexican american who does not speak spanish... does that make me less of a hispanic ?I know about my culture my grandmother told my parents i wouldn't need to know spanish and all my family only speaks english to each other

my son is 9 yrs old almost 10 and is 30 lbs overweight he wants to play football but he didn't make weight he was 15 lbs to heavy. i have changed our families eating habits consulted a nutritionist and put him in soccer for now which he hates. the problem i have is when he goes to school and when he is with his dad everyother weekend he eats whatever he wants what can i do besides go to school with him i have talked to him about the importance of being healthy he said i think he's fat . so if anyone can give me some advice i would appriciate it

I have 3 step kids ages 13,12 and 8 there mom left them when the oldest was 5 with my husbands parents she said she was going to the store and never came back . my husband's parents raised them until about3 yrs ago that's when we took over . she had tried to contact them about 2 yrs ago and my husband allowed her to send them presents but she only sent the oldest one and the youngest and when it came time for my middle daughter's b-day she didn't send anything and she is the one most devastated by tho whole thing. do you think we should allow her to pop up whenever she feels like it or cut off all contact?
