I've been submitting comments to YouTube for about 4 years now. I'm wondering why more than 99 percent of the comments I write end up as the top comment. I can't believe it's because my comments are always the best comment. I'll see somebody with a comment that has 458 thumbs up. My comment will have 1 thumb up and yet I always see it on my computer as the top comment. It seems not to really matter what I write. I can write a stupid joke not even related to the video and I'll go back to that page a year later and my comment is the top comment. Is it because I write so many comments? I keep thinking it's some kind of glitch in the system.. Any information about this would be greatly appreciated.

About 6 months ago I bought a 6 year old black and white male cat for $40 from a young man in my building who wasn't taking proper care of him.. The cat was very skittish and I have a feeling the guy probably abused him. He seemed more interested in drugs than taking care of his pet. The cat has improved considerably, but about a month ago I noticed something strange about his fur. It's growing in thick clumps on his back. At first I thought the cat had rolled in something sticky and attempted to wash him off with a warm wet towel. It didn't help. I attempted to cut off the fur with hair clippers but the fur is so thick the clippers just made a high whinning sound and wouldn't cut through it. I cut a little off with a pair of scissors and couldn't believe how thick his fur is. It's more like carpet than hair. He looks like a punk rocker cat with quills sticking up on his back. This cat has not has his nails clipped in 2 years and I've been zinged good a few times. I want to just put him in a tub of water and wash him throughly but I know he would freak out. I love this cat dearly and he has to be that way, so be it. The cat's personality has improved a lot since living with me. He's grown to trust me. Can anybody give me some information about this? Any comments would be appreciated.

Without a doubt, YouTube is my favorite website. I spend at least two hours a day watching videos and writing comments. Everything worked great with YouTube until about a year ago. I was using Chrome and all at once it became unresponsive to anything on YouTube. It would take 18 minutes to load the initial page. I switched to Firefox and that seemed to remedy the problem for about 5 weeks. Firefox also started crashing and becoming unstable. I put up with it for a couple of months and switched back to Chrome. It's not as bad as it was a year ago but it's getting there. It's far too slow to load. I keep getting the "pages unresponsive" message and videos change without any prompting from me. I have to think the problem is with YouTube because I don't have any of these problems with other websites. Disabling all my extensions helps a little bit but not much. Even though my computer is 9 years old, just about everything has been upgraded at least once.. I'm using the XP operating system and I'm connected to the internet via my neighbor's router password. Is there anything I can do to improve my YouTube experience, because this really sucks. Someone suggested I change my DNS server, but I don't think I'm computer literate enough to make those kind of changes. Is there another website similar to YouTube? Any responses to would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible for somebody in 2nd location to access the Google Earth Pro Edition from my desktop? My friend is on a file server system which doesn't permit downloading secondary software like Google Earth. Is there some way I can give this person complete control of my computer so they can use my Google Earth program? Any help would be appreciated.

For the last 4 months or so I've been experiencing an annoying problem with YouTube comments. I'll be in the middle of writing a comment and without warning the whole page will change to another video and I lose my comment. This is SO freaking annoying! Is there some way I can lock down the page so I can finish my comment? Is there some setting I'm not aware that's causing this to happen? I realize YouTube comments went through a major change recently but this was happening before then. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Anybody who been to YouTube within the last 24 hours has noticed a major change to the comments section. You can't write comments and there's no comments to read. Instead you get a pop up window telling you the benefits of a new system involving Google Plus. All morning I have been trying to figure out how this works. One video said I needed to open a Google Plus account in order to read and write comments. I attempted to do this and found out I already have a Google Plus account. Yet, I'm still unable to write or read any comments. Am I supposed to go to another website to leave comments? That makes absolutely no sense. I thought the objective of technology was to make things easier, not more difficult.

Can somebody out there explain in simple terminology how this new system works? Regardless of how it works, YouTube is doing a piss-poor job of keeping its users informed. They're getting to be almost as bad as Yahoo Answers which also doesn't understand the premise of "If it ain't broken, don't fix it!"

I'm curious to try out the Linux operating system but I'm having trouble getting started. From what I understand, you can keep your operating system and boot-up Linux from your CD drive. I have a CD/DVD burner but I don't have any blank CDs. Just blank DVDs. That doesn't make any difference does it? The one time I attempted to burn the Linux image onto a blank DVD I did something wrong because it didn't turn out right.

There is also a booting up problem with my computer. About five years ago I turned on my computer and it started making an annoying loud noise. I couldn't figure it out until I opened my computert. One of fan blades for the main cooling fan snapped off. I disconnected it and I've been using a small heater fan (with the heat turned off of course) to cool off my computer. It works fine but every time I boot up my computer I get this message "Fan not connected. Service computer." Then I have to press F2 to bypass that. Will this boot up problem prevent me from booting up to Linux? Is there a way to completely bypass this interruption?

I bought this computer refurbished in 2006 and it came with XP Pro. I've never been able to find a virus protection program that doesn't slow down my computer substantially. So instead of using a program I've been cleaning up my system with CCleaner and Malware Bytes every two weeks. It would be nice if I didn't have to worry about viruses. Any help (or experience descriptions) in this matter would be appreciated. Thank you.

The refurbished PC I bought in 2006 still works fine but needs updated drivers. There are many websites offering free system scans on the condition that you accept AVG Secure Search with it. Pressing "decline" doesn't mean anything. It still downloads into your computer. I don't want AVG because it slows down my system and it can be very difficult to uninstall. Is there an all-in-one website that will scan my system and provide the links I need to update my drivers? Any help would be appreciated.

Yesterday I downloaded a program I thought was free called Driver Tool. The only thing free was the system scan. Now I can't remove it. I removed it from the system tray but it's still in my computer. It's listed in Add/Remove but there's no remove or change buttons. I ran the program's uninstaller. It said it uninstalled but it's still there. I tried removing it with 3 different uninstall programs but it doesn't show up on any of them, even though it's in Add/Remove. Is there anyway I can get rid of this program without going into the Windows registry? I'm alright on computers but I'm not competent enough to do that. At this point I'm almost willing to do a system restore but as nasty as this program is I'm afraid that won't work either. I've come across some hard to remove programs before but nothing like this. Any help would be appreciated.

Last week I made 2,038 points and should have been listed as #92 on the Yahoo Answers U.S. Weekly Leaderboard, but for some reason I wasn't listed I'm still living in San Francisco where I have been since 1994. I was listed in the Global weekly leaderboard at #210. Anyway, I contacted the Yahoo Answers Team and told them about the error. Three days later I got a message back saying yes, an error had been made and they would look into it. Well, low and behold this week I made even more points and should have been listed at #72 but was not listed AT ALL on either board. Now apparently, I'm a non person. I'm unable to find a way to contact the Yahoo Answers Team. Can somebody give me the address so I can tell Yahoo Answers "Team" to stick it where the sun doesn't shine?

A friend of mine gave me some Beatles CDs and I'm trying to put together the ultimate Beatles music collection. It will be in mp3 format on a blank DVD. This collection will consist of 30 albums worth of music on one DVD. I already had most of it, but my friend gave me a few missing CDs. The problem is some of his CDs are in bad condition and they either skip or bypass the songs completely. Is there a way I can copy those songs from other CDs and move them into the proper slot on the messed up CDs. I know how to label it and move it, I just can't figure out how to copy the song without moving it completely. Isn't there a way you can copy one song and put it somewhere while leaving the original behind? The left button on the mouse gives an option to copy but when I press it, nothing happens. These are VLC audio files. I've been working on this project for two days and I've already wasted 4 blank DVDs. I thought I finally had it all together only to find out a song skipped or was totally missing. If would great if there was a way to test a file you're going to burn before using a blank disc. This is going to be a fantastic collection if I can ever get it done. I'm thinking of adding a second DVD disc to include all five of their movies. I would appreciate any help with this.

I earned 2,016 points last week, which should put me as #92 on the U.S. weekly leader but my name is not on the the list AT ALL. I made the global leader board at number #210 but why am I missing from the U.S. weekly leaderboard? I was there last week at #150. What's the problem?? I didn't move to another country. I'm still living in the same apartment building I've been living in California since 1994. What's going on and how do I complain about this?

What does it mean when there's an unresolved question still on the board but you can't leave an answer because the "answer this question" box is not there? I've seen this several times.

While looking through the global weekly Yahoo Answers leader board this morning I noticed that number 6, "Daniel" has 105% best answers. How is this possible?

I've spend at least five hours trying to get VOIP on my PC computer using Google Voice and was unsuccessful. I'm so frustrated I'm giving up on it for today. All the hardware issues are OK. I signed up for Google Voice and gave them a phone number to verify. I didn't make it to the phone in time to punch in the two digit verification number but the answering machine clicked in and a robotic female voice left a six digit number. I went back to the computer and clicked try again and the message said "Calling now.." but the phone never rang. I did this four times and it kept reading "Calling now.." and the phone never rang once. Then a message came up "Unable to verify."

When I first heard about this Google Voice thing, I thought "oh cool. I can have some basic phone service, so I won't have to walk 3 blocks to the pay phone every time I need to call someone." I had a Virgin Mobile cell phone two years ago but my phone usage didn't justify the $30 per month I was paying to have it. I only make about 2 to 5 phone calls a week.

Why isn't there a service that can help people put all this technical stuff together instead of having to go through all this stuff just to get one element you need to have VOIP? I kept getting these screens asking for verification IDs and sceenames and passwords and there doesn't seem to be universal terminology for the fields. What one company calls a Verification number another company calls access code. At this point I have everything I need. I just don't know how to put it all together so I can have some phone service. Why does it have to be SO complicated?

About six months ago I was walking down my street and noticed a gorgeous mural that had just been painted. My neighborhood is kind of dismal and this mural really brightened up the area. The mural was signed and I thought I should write this artist a note to thank her for making our neighborhood look nice. She was very easy to find on Facebook and so I wrote her a message. She never responded and I quickly forgot about her. Within about a week I started noticing these strange subject lines in my email inbox. "Do you know Lecinda Akerson? or Muhammed Bornstein" All these people I never heard of. I don't know what this woman did but every time I go to my Facebook page I find all these people's pictures and comments that I don't know. I know Facebook connects people but I don't know any of these people and I don't want to. Apparently this woman connected her Facebook account to mine in some fashion.. I don't know. I'm 85% Facebook illiterate. As I stated my only purpose to sign up was for people to find me.. Is there some where I can disconnect all references to this person? What can I do? Should I just close my account and start a new one? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't know why this is happening but it's really starting to bother me. I'll see a question that I can answer and so I hit the "Answer Question" button and the blank text screen appears. I'll type in my answer, hit "Post" and the next thing I know my answer shows up on a totally different question. It happened 3 times yesterday and it's already happened twice today. Am I doing something wrong or is this a Yahoo glitch?

I like to go on Yahoo Answers first thing in the morning and try to answer a few questions. It helps me wake up my brain. Anyway, I like the "Show Me Another" feature because it's easier for me to read the larger font of the question. For some reason it never seems to works properly. It will show me 10 or 15 questions and then it will go backwards and show me questions it already showed me. I know there's more than 10 questions in the category. Am I doing something wrong?

I have a 7 year old Compaq desk top computer. Yeah, I know Mr. Bigshot High Tech but its all I can afford now .Anyway, I'm running Windows XP Pro on it and for the most part I don't have very many problems. My question is, why do I keep getting these "Program Not Reponding." messages every time I shut down my computer? It's always the same five programs on my computer but it doesn't happen in the same way.. Sometimes 3 messages will pop up. Sometimes only 1 but overall, it's always these same five programs. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? Would a defrag have any effect on this? Any help would be appreciated.

Ever time I scan for broadcast channels on my HD TV it keeps picking up channels that have nothing on them. The channel indicates call letters like KIVO 20.5 but a message from the TV reads "Mode Not Supported." and the screen is black. I'm picking up more with each scan. There's like seven of them now. Are these going to be future channels? What's the deal?
